British professional esports organization Into The Breach has officially been loaned Alexey “Qikert” Golubev from Virtus.pro, confirming BLIX’s earlier report. He will be the new in-game leader of ITB’s CS:GO squad.
The 24-year-old Kazakhstani athlete joins the British team on a 3-month loan arrangement and ITB has a priority option to hire him on a permanent contract. He has taken the place of Thomas “Thomas” Utting, who stepped down to a substitute position recently.

“With the additions of Bymas, Misutaaa and now Qikert ‘ mixed with the stoic fragging of Rallen and energetic play of CRUC1AL, we think this’ll be a team to watch. At the very least, they’ll be bringing some exciting and innovative play as we head into CS2. Great mix of young guns and veterans, the guys get on super well, and have already melded in such a promising way. I just can’t wait to see what this team develops into over the long-term,” Sam “SlayTheMinotaur” Macedonio said.
Nikolai Petrossian, CEO of Virtus.pro, has wished Qikert a success at ITB and hopes this loan will transform to a permanent transfer.
