HEROIC has revealed that Pavle ‘Maden’ Bošković will join the team as their fifth player for the BLAST Bounty Finals, set to take place from January 23 to 26 in Copenhagen. The Montenegrin player will take the place of Andrey ‘tN1R’ Tatarinovich, who cannot attend the event because of visa complications.
HEROIC has shared an update regarding Linus ‘nilo’ Bergman’s situation. The Swedish player was acquired from Metizport earlier this month in a transfer valued at a minimum of $175,000, but he has not yet played for the team and was noted as a substitute during the online segment of BLAST Bounty.
As stated by HEROIC, ‘nilo’ faced personal situations that rendered the transition to Tier 1 Counter-Strike especially difficult at this moment. This unforeseen situation arose despite the fact that the player had already committed to a three-year contract with HEROIC.
tN1R’s lack of presence in Copenhagen will be strongly noticed following his significant contribution to HEROIC’s qualification, where he achieved an average rating of 1.04 in the two victories against 3DMAX and Liquid. The Belarusian player, who was recruited from GUN5, is set to make his LAN debut with the team at IEM Katowice.
‘Maden’ has not participated in any matches since the Falcons were knocked out of the Shanghai Major Europe RMR. Following the tournament, he was placed on the bench as part of an off-season roster change, and he has been serving as a substitute on HEROIC’s BLAST Bounty roster alongside ‘nilo’.
During the BLAST Bounty Finals, the Montenegrin will come together again with Álvaro ‘SunPayus’ García and head coach Eetu ‘sAw’ Saha.
