The world’s number one, number three, and number five teams have already secured their spots at Shanghai Major, which will be held from November 30 to December 15 and will have a prize pool of $1,250,000. There will be 24 teams featured in total, but as of now, we know only a few of them.

Natus Vincere
It was not as easy as some would expect it to be. Even though they started with two wins in a row, the first being over Fnatic with a confident score of 13-9 and the second one against SINNERS with a score of 13-5, then they met someone they couldn’t win, and it was MOUZ. Even though Natus Vincere won the first map in a best-of-three series with a 13-4 score, and it was MOUZ map pick, it didn’t go their way as MOUZ made a comeback and completely demolished Natus Vincere on the other two maps, and Natus Vincere ended up losing with a score of 1-2. Their next opponent was SAW, which was a good chance for Natus Vincere to qualify. They didn’t miss it as they won that game with a score of 2-0, deserving a spot at Shanghai Major.
jL is happy with the results
MOUZ
MOUZ didn’t lose a single game on their way to the Shanghai Major. Their first match was against Nemiga, and they showed who was the better team and won with a score of 13-3. Their next game was against Sangal, and they kept their confidence and won, scoring 13-3 again. Their next match for the spot at Shanghai Major was against Natus Vincere, and as you already know from above, they were able to win with a 2-1 score even though they lost the first map.
Vitality
Like MOUZ, Vitality is the second team to qualify without losing a single game, but unlike MOUZ, Vitality didn’t even lose a single map on their way. In the first match, they played against GamerLegion and won with a score of 13-8. Their second match was against BetBoom, and Vitality demolished them with a score of 13-3. The third match was more challenging since it was against FaZe, but Vitality was not about to stop with their streak and ended up winning with a score of 2-0, leaving no chance to anyone while winning their spot at Shanghai Major.
Not the first time for apEX to say the least
