New CS2 Update Brings Inferno and Train Updates With Some New Skins

Valve has updated Counter-Strike 2 by modifying Train and Inferno, making visuals less complex in various frequent spots, and altering a few regions to facilitate smoother movement.

Official Update Announcement

The pixel gap at Coffins has been eliminated, multiple areas on Train and Inferno were made clearer for visibility, and new skins were introduced in the most recent update.

The most noticeable alteration is the expansion of Banana, which Valve “modified to more accurately reflect the dimensions of the CS:GO iteration.”

The impact and range of incendiary grenades have been reduced in a prior update, making it even more challenging for CTs to compete for control of a crucial area on the map.

The stairs beside Arch and the pixel gap at Coffin, which enabled a player on Sandbags to see the tops of heads emerging from Church, were eliminated. Additionally, the crates leading up to A Site’s Balcony were modified for improved movement, along with various adjustments to “player and grenade collision.”

Numerous frequently played spots had their surroundings cleared for improved visibility, such as the line of sight into Pit on A and the regions behind the T ramp and at the back of B Site.

Train also underwent a similar cleanup in locations like Z, Ivy, and upper B, while the overhead rail of the A Site roof was reduced in length “to facilitate throwing utility into the site.”

Almost 100 new skins were introduced with the latest Fever Case, alongside three new map collections, and an enhancement to the Train collection that draws inspiration from the map’s updated visuals.
