PARIVISION’s triumph at Majestic LanDaLan 3 has shaken up the StarLadder Budapest Major invite race. Their victory not only earned them silverware but also propelled them into the projected Major invite list — at the expense of BetBoom, who have now slipped out of contention.

    A High-Stakes Race for Budapest

    StarLadder Budapest Major 2025

The October 6 deadline for StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 invitations is rapidly approaching, and the battle for the final European slots is tighter than ever. HLTV’s Major invite watch, based on the VRS ranking system, tracks which teams are most likely to claim the coveted Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3 invites.

With only a handful of LANs left on the calendar, every win carries massive weight. Before the LanDaLan 3, BetBoom was favored for staying above the line, while PARIVISION was a few spots below.

    PARIVISION’s Breakthrough at LanDaLan

Majestic LanDaLan 3 proved to be the turning point for a few teams. PARIVISION stormed through the bracket and claimed the trophy, a victory that provided them with critical ranking points. According to HLTV.org European Rankings, the team gained four ranking spots, overtaking both BetBoom and even fnatic in the projected standings.

That surge secured them a projected Stage 1 invite to Budapest Major, rewriting their trajectory in just one weekend.

For BetBoom, the result is a bitter pill. They reached the finals at LanDaLan, but falling short of the title meant their ranking boost wasn’t enough to keep pace with PARIVISION’s leap. Despite consistency across recent events, they now sit outside of the projected Major invite list.

It highlights the ruthless math of the VRS system — even strong finishes can be undermined if rivals peak at just the right time.

    A Shaken Invite Landscape

The overall effect goes beyond just PARIVISION and BetBoom. Virtus.pro also finds itself in danger, sitting on 1,413 points with no more events to play before the deadline, leaving it vulnerable to being overtaken.

For now, PARIVISION has joined the StarLadder Major invite pool, while BetBoom has fallen out — a dramatic reversal with just days left before the cut-off.

    LanDaLan: The Defining Moment

PARIVISION’s LanDaLan win is more than just a tournament victory and trophy — it’s a lifeline to the Major stage. Their rise at the perfect moment has come directly at the cost of BetBoom, who now face the harsh reality of falling out of the invite race.

With the deadline looming and only a handful of points separating contenders, the Budapest Major invite battle remains wide open — and LanDaLan may prove to be the event that defined it.
