Vitality has revealed that they have placed Lotan ‘Spinx’ Giladi on the inactive roster, concluding the Israeli player’s 878-day period in the starting lineup. This decision likely precedes the anticipated inclusion of Robin ‘ropz’ Kool.
‘Spinx’ was part of Vitality for two and a half years, during which he secured seven significant trophies, including a Major title. He joined in the middle of 2022 and quickly made an impact by winning ESL Pro League S16 in his very first major event.
Following some personal challenges towards the end of 2022, ‘Spinx’ began 2023 with renewed energy, playing a key role in helping Vitality secure their first Major trophy at the BLAST.tv Paris Major, along with a series of additional titles, which ultimately led to them being recognized as the team of 2023. For his significant contributions to Vitality’s outstanding year, he was ranked the 5th-best player of 2023.
Performance declined for Vitality in 2024, and ‘Spinx’ requested that the organization consider his alternatives during the summer player break. No transfer occurred during that period, and while Vitality couldn’t regain the success of 2023, they managed to secure the IEM Cologne title in the latter half of the year.
