TSM has concluded their Danish initiative, as announced by the American organization.
While William ‘sirah’ Kjærsgaard, Frederik ‘acoR’ Gyldstrand, and Rasmus ‘Zyphon’ Nordfoss are still seated on the bench, Valdemar ‘valde’ Bjørn Vangså, Allan ‘Rejin’ Petersen, and Nikolaj ‘niko’ Kristensen have had their contracts ended.
The women’s initiative, known as TSM Impact, reached its conclusion on December 3, marking the end of a significant chapter. Following closely behind, the men’s team has now also wrapped up their efforts, bringing their project to a close as well.
TSM is currently positioned at No. 57 on the Valve ranking, which means they are not eligible for invitations to premier events in 2025. The Danish roster represents TSM’s second effort to establish a competitive lineup after they initially returned to CS with a team led by Rémy ‘XTQZZZ’ Quoniam in August 2023.
The team, consisting of ‘valde’, Audric ‘JACKZ’ Jug, and Cai ‘CYPHER’ Watson, struggled to find their rhythm after ‘XTQZZZ’ departed for Vitality just three months into their formation, leading to numerous roster changes before the lineup shifted entirely to a Danish roster in July 2024.
The strategy for the reconstruction focused on Benjamin ‘blameF’ Bremer and Kristian ‘k0nfig’ Wienecke, but the new initiative ultimately had to incorporate ‘niko’ and Alexander ‘Altekz’ Givskov (who was subsequently substituted by ‘sirah’) instead.
The Danes successfully qualified for the RMR, which was already an achievement beyond their expectations, but they concluded the event with a record of 1-3, managing only a single victory against PARIVISION, in what has turned out to be their only LAN appearance together.
