Top CS2 Tournaments to Watch and Bet On

    BLAST.tv Austin Major

    BLAST.tv Austin Major
    • Dates: June 3 – June 22
    • Location: Austin, Texas
    • Prize Pool: $1,250,000

BLAST.tv Austin Major tournament will be the most important right at the start of the season, as it is a major-level tournament, something all the teams have been working towards to decide again who is the best team in the world. The tournament consists of 3 stages before the playoff stage, and across all the stages, there will be best-of-one and best-of-three matches.

Check out our BLAST Austin Major Overview for more information about the biggest event this summer.

    FISSURE Playground 1

    FISSURE Playground
    • Dates: July 15 – July 20
    • Location: Belgrade, Serbia
    • Prize Pool: $1,000,000

FISSURE Playground 1 will be the first tournament after the BLAST Austin Major. Since most teams make their roster changes after the major tournaments, it will be the first tournament they play with any roster updates they decide to make, which might give an advantage to experienced bettors. At this tournament, teams might be just trying out their new players, and some of them might not take it that seriously.

    IEM Cologne

    IEM Cologne 2025
    • Dates: July 23 – August 3
    • Location: Cologne, Germany
    • Prize Pool: $1,250,000

IEM Cologne is a prestigious tournament in CS2 history, and teams and players usually take it seriously. Plus, this will be the second tournament after most of the roster shuffles, and this is where some of the teams will start showing their best, considering all the roster shuffles they made. It will give an experienced bettor an advantage and a chance to catch value odds.

    BLAST Bounty Season 2 Finals

BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 2 Finals
    • Dates: August 14 – August 17
    • Location: Copenhagen, Denmark
    • Prize Pool: $500,000

BLAST Bounty series, where only eight teams make it to the Finals Stage from the Online Stage of the tournament, is usually a chance for lower-tier teams to take their shot at the trophy since some of the elite-level teams might skip it for any reason.

It’s a good tournament to bet on, as there are no best-of-one matches. It is also easier to determine the eight teams’ performance and current form, which will help you make the right choice while betting.

    Esports World Cup

    Esports World Cup 2025
    • Dates: August 20 – August 24
    • Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
    • Prize Pool: $1,250,000

Esports World Cup became one of the big events in the CS2 world, with a huge prize pool that made it comparable to similar tournaments. Usually, all of the top teams try their best to make it to this event. It mostly consists of best-of-three matches, which means the results are less randomized in the end and better for smart betting.

    BLAST Open London

    BLAST Open London
    • Dates: August 27 – September 7
    • Location: Copenhagen, Denmark, and London, UK
    • Prize Pool: $400,000

To close out the summer season, there will be BLAST Open London. Considering that it will be right after the Esports World Cup and the dates are very close, some teams might miss the event, which will give the other teams an advantage and a chance to win a trophy. As for bettors, if elite-level teams decide to skip this event, it might be a good chance to try to catch an underdog bet with good odds.

    Betting Tips

When betting on tournaments, consider roster changes and stand-in players, often due to visa issues. If you stay updated on team news, you might find great odds against teams with stand-ins before others do. Here are some additional tips:

    • Do not bet on a third-place decider match, or do it carefully, since some teams don’t take it that seriously.
    • Be careful with best-of-one matches, especially the opening matches, since some might end unexpectedly just because of team jet lag, for example. It is better to figure out what kind of form a team is in while it’s in a best-of-one stage, gather all the information, and be ready to bet on best-of-three matches.
    • Do not bet while tilted. As you can see above, there are many tournaments this season, which means many opportunities. If you stay cold and make wise choices, you can make the right bet better.
