Although these kinds of statistics are subjective, we believe that the players you are about to see are on another level. Each one has achieved impressive results, so let’s learn more details.

    Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok

It is impossible to talk about the best LoL players ranking and not mention Faker. He is an icon (and even more for some people) in this game and will go down in history as the all-time greatest.

Faker began his professional career in 2013, but he started playing LoL as soon as the game became available. Interestingly, the player joined SK Telecom T1 (which is now called T1) and quickly proved himself as one of the best midders in the world.

Lee Sang-hyeok is famous for a lot of things, one of which is his incredible in-game control. He is also renowned for his high individual skill and the fact that he became the Worlds Champion in a total of 5 times. The last time was in 2024 when he also became the event’s MVP.

    Kang “Deft” Seong-jin

There are several very popular AD carries, but Deft is probably one of the first names that comes to mind. He is widely regarded as one of the best LoL players in the world and is famous for his calmness and technique.

In terms of the player’s experience, he began his professional journey at Samsung Blue. After spending some time with the club, the player eventually moved to DRX and KT Rolster. Nowadays, the 28-year-old Korean is a part of KT Rolster and continues to be one of the club’s most important names.

What’s interesting is that Deft is actually playing as a bot laner for his current team, and his favorite champion is Jinx.

    Heo “ShowMaker” Su

Although not as popular as Faker, ShowMaker is another world-class mid-laner from South Korea. Unlike some of the other players who have been on the professional scene for years, ShowMaker joined the pro scene in 2019. He started playing for DAMWON Gaming and quickly rose to the top.

Most people like watching ShowMaker playing because he is much more aggressive than other midders. The player received the MVP award in 2021 when his squad won the World Championship.

    Luka “Perkz” Petrovic

The next name on the Best LoL players of all time list is not from South Korea. Instead, we have a Croatian superstar who has been both an ADC and a midlaner. The player spend a lot of time in LEC until he got the chance to take part in the LCS and did not disappoint his fans.

The 26-year-old Croatian was a part of many big teams over the years, the most recent one being Team Heretics. His professional career began in 2014 with GSI Gaming, but he spent more than 5 years with G2 Esports.

    Cho “Mata” Se-hyeong

If you take a look at some of the best LoL players by country, you will see that Mata will be on the list for South Korea. Some people will agree that he is probably the best support player in the game’s history. He is famous for his incredible decision-making and in-game intelligence.

Mata is no longer active as a professional player because he decided to become a coach in 2019. Due to his incredible experience and in-game awareness, he is easily one of the best coaches in the world. Currently, the 30-year-old coach helps Gen.G.

    Song “Rookie” Eui-jin

Another big name that we need to include on the list of the best  LoL players is Rookie. Many people will remember this player because of his impressive results with iG in 2018. This was when he had his squad finally put an end to South Korea’s dominance and allowed the Chinese teams to stand out.

Although some people may not put him next to Faker and ShowMaker, we believe he is also among the most talented mid-laners. Currently, Rookie is a part of Ninjas in Pyjamas, but the team is not performing as well as some players would like it to.

    Rasmus “Caps” Winther

Caps is a very interesting name, and definitely one of the best LoL players of all time. The 24-year-old started his professional path in 2016 and has been a part of several teams since then. Needless to say, most people associate him with G2 Esports, the squad where he’s been playing since 2018.

With a total of 8 LEC titles so far, the mid/bot player is often regarded as one of the best Europeans in this game. What is also interesting about him is that he is often called “Baby Faker” because of the way he plays.

Caps became the first EU player to get the 2 MVP rewards when playing for two different teams. Another cool fact about him is that he has a brother who plays Dota 2. Christoffer “Ryze” Winther was a parto of several big Dota 2 teams over the years, but he stopped competing in 2017.

    Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk

Another name that must be on the best LoL players of all time list is Ruler. Gen.G’s AD Carry is mostly famous for the 2017 World Championship and his incredible performance through the competition.

The player is widely regarded as one of the best AD Carries in the League of Legends. Ruler has the incredible ability to control the game’s tempo. The 25-year-old player was last a part of JD Gaming, where he spent close to two years.

    Lee “Wolf” Jae-wan

Another name that also must be present in every top LoL player’s list is Wolf. T1’s support has played alongside Faker, which is why he also has two World Championships.

Unlike Faker, however, Wolf is a support player. He is famous for his ability to adapt and put his teams’ needs above his own. Currently, the 28-year-old player is still a part of T1’s team, but he is a streamer, not an active player.

    Han “Peanut” Wang-ho

The last spot when it comes down to the world’s best LoL players has to go to Peanut. The jungler has many fans because of his aggressive playstyle. Doing this allows him to put pressure all over the map and help his team win.

Throughout his career, Peanut played for several big teams, including SK Telecom T1, LGD Gaming, and others. Currently, he is a part of HLE.

    Closing Thoughts

There is no arguing that each of these LoL players deserves to be on the list. Some are more successful than others, but each one has proven himself time and time again.

Despite its age, League of Legends is one of the world’s biggest Esports, so we will definitely see even more world-class players in the future. Keep an eye on Blix.gg if you want to learn more details about them.
