    BetBoom Dacha Dubai

BetBoom Dacha Dubai from the tournament organizer FISSURE and betting company BetBoom is the first significant cybersport event on Dota 2 this year. The 12 teams were divided into two groups of six teams in a round-robin system, with the top four teams from each group qualifying for the playoffs, where they were eliminated after two losses.

BetBoom’s dacha events drew more solid prizes in 1 on one mode. The winner of the 1-on-1 mode previously received $1,000, but the revamped BetBoom Dacha will now offer a whopping $100,000 to the individual champion.

    Games of the Future 2024

At the Kazan Expo in Russia, 16 teams competed in four groups of four teams each. The remaining 12 teams played in playoffs, where all matches were played in a best-of-three format.

    ESB x Qatar Esports Federation

Electronic Sports Broadcasting (ESB), one of South America’s most prominent esports organizers, has joined forces with the Qatar Esports Federation.

This partnership will allow three LAN tournaments to be held annually with a total prize pool of $2.6 million.

The first tournament starts in Doha, Qatar, from April 3 to 14. We will see the next one in Lima, Peru, from July 22 to August 4. The year’s last tournament will be held in Doha, Qatar, from November 26 to December 6.

    Dota 2 PGL Series

PGL has announced a three-year Dota 2 tournament marathon with eight big tournaments, each with a $1 million prize pool.

The first (PGL Wallachia) will be held at the PGL studio in Bucharest from May 10 to 19, 2024; qualifications will be held from March 21 to 28. A total of 16 teams will play in the tournament.

The second tournament in 2024 is scheduled for November 15-24, with qualifications on September 29-October 6.

    2026 Tournament 3 – November 6-15 | Qualifications – September 27-October 4.

    The International 202

Even though the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) is no longer in 2024, it’s clear that a significant TI remains in the plans.

On March 8-9 night, Valve announced The International 2024! It will be held in September in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. There has yet to be a word on the exact dates or prize pool, but we did learn a bit about the format.

The International is returning to Europe. Some of the sixteen participating teams will get to the tournament through open and regional selections and some – by direct invitations.

In 2023, Team Spirit won the tournament series The International. Let’s see who will make a splash this year.
