The end of the Clavision Masters 2025: Snow Ruyi means we are merely a month away from The International 2025. The epic tournament gave us access to loads of jaw-dropping moments, but Team Tidebound eventually won it.
Now that the competition is over, fans are wondering whether Valve will release a new update before TI 2025. We have been on the current meta for some time now and have already seen loads of big competitions.
We at Blix.gg believe there will be at least a minor update before The International 2025. That’s why it is time to take a look at some of the things we expect to change before the new event, as well as the hottest options at Clavision Masters 2025: Snow Ruyi.

Most Picked & Banned Heroes at Clavision Masters 2025
If we check the stats after the event ended, we can clearly see 1 hero in the lead – Shadow Shaman. The support appeared in 44 matches in total and secured an impressive 59.09% win rate. This proves that he is the best support in Dota 2 right now and a hero who definitely deserves attention.
Queen of Pain got the 2nd place as the most popular pick with 29 appearances in total. Unlike SS, however, QoP only got a 42.86% win rate. This makes her one of the less-efficient cores.
At number 3 we have Puck. Players picked him 27 times, but unlike Queen of Pain, the midder had a 59.26% win rate.
Moving on to the most banned heroes, Naga Siren continues to lead the chart. Similar to what happened at the Esports World Cup 2025, Naga Siren was banned in 79 games in total, or 92.94% of all matches.
Interestingly, Shadow Fiend takes second place with 72 bans. Lastly, we have Puck, a hero that players did not want to see in 60% of games.
Most & Least Successful Heroes at Clavision Masters 2025
When it comes to the most successful heroes, Shadow Fiend is in the lead. Although he only appeared in 11 games, the hero secured 10 victories, giving him more than a 90% success rate.
The second place goes to Dark Willow, which has a 70% win rate out of 10 games, followed by Storm Spirit. He has a 66.67% win rate out of 12 games.
In terms of the least successful names at the event, number 1 goes to Dazzle. The support only had a 21.43% win rate out of 14 games, which proves he is not in his best state as of yet.
The second name on the list is shared between 3 heroes – Tusk, Kunkka and Gyrocopter. All of them have a 26.67% win rate out of 15 games. Lastly, we have Leshrac with a 27.27% win rate out of 11 matches.
The International 2025 Anticipated Hero Changes
Considering how the meta is going, we can see that certain heroes need a buff, whereas others should be nerfed. Starting with the latter, Shadow Shaman is definitely the first name on the list. He became the most successful pick two events in a row and is just too annoying to play against. Aside from his high base damage, the hero offers tons of CC, survivability, and pushing potential.
The next hero that we believe needs changes is Naga Siren. It’s true we rarely see her in action on the professional scene, but there’s a good reason why she’s the most banned hero at two events in a row. Naga is a fast-farming carry capable of disrupting any team fight. She scales incredibly well and, unless there are hard counters, can easily win the game.
At number 3 on the list of nerfs, we think Nature’s Prophet needs to receive changes. Although he is not as strong as the other two, the hero has been in the meta for so long that it’s probably time to leave. He can gank, harass, farm, push, and have global presence, making him a really annoying pick to play against.
Moving on to those that need a buff, the list is very long. Grimstroke is a good start because he was one of the most popular supports. Sadly, his weakening laning stage has removed him from the meta, and we rarely get to see him in action.
Leshrac is another name that we think needs some changes. Although we saw him a few times at the Clavision Masters 2025, his win rate was not the best, and he struggles against most other midders.
Lastly, we have Invoker. Despite the small buffs in the previous patch, he remains relatively weak compared to other midders. It seems like BZM is the only professional Dota 2 midder that continues to use him in the current meta.
Final Thoughts: Will Valve Shake Up the Meta in Time for TI?
There is only one big Dota 2 event left until The International 2025, and it will start around 2 weeks from now. Some fans believe that Valve will make changes before the FISSURE Universe Episode 6, but we will have to wait to see if this will be the case. We expect a small patch before the big event because fans seem to be bored with the current meta.
