It seems like Valve decided to surprise Dota 2 fans worldwide with the Winter Quortero. The small update was released a few years ago and it revives a familiar seasonal event. Aside from that, Valve also decided to add a few cosmetics and new data that reveal there will be an upcoming event.
Dota 2 Winter Quortero – New Cosmetics
One of the first new things that players will have access to from the Dota 2 Winter Quortero is three new sets. All of them have special features that fit into the Winter Quortero theme and are for the following heroes:
- Axe
- Shadow Shaman
- Shadow Fiend
Aside from that, Dota 2 fans will be happy to know that Valve decided to return the Megaultraspecial Rare Quortero. This is a rare seasonal reward and players will need to reach Level 5 in the seasonal pass to unlock it.
If you are lucky and get this item, you can obtain all kinds of options, such as a unique set from previous seasonal events. Depending on how lucky you are, it is even possible to find Immortal or Arcana items. It is similar to a high-rarity loot box that lets you test your luck and get something good in return.

Dota 2 Winter Quortero Duration & Bard Frog Event
When it comes to the event’s duration, you can access the Dota 2 Winter Quortero from now until March 26, 2026. This will give you plenty of time to get the reward you want.
As for the Bard Frog Event, this is something that the community has been waiting for. Some data miners scanned the newly-added files and found that Valve added the name bard_frogling and that it has more than 50 animations. This suggests that the event will likely be called Frogling and will feature numerous interesting elements.
