Former Evil Genius’ Dota 2 players will continue performing together after leaving the organization.
“Because EG let the roster go it doesn’t mean that the players are all just gone and the team disappears. They’ve released the roster but it’s up to us if we want to keep playing with each other,” said ex-captain of the EG Dota 2 team Tal “Fly” Aizik.
He added that there would be changes in the line-up, but the core would remain. And they will continue to compete in North America.
Recently Evil Geniuses has officially announced the release of its entire Dota 2 roster.
According to earlier reports, Evil Geniuses will hire the new Dota 2 squad from former Thunder Awaken and beastcoast players.
Evil Geniuses ranked 9th-12th at The International 2022. Despite a good performance in the group stage, the team suffered two defeats in the playoffs and left the tournament.
Ex-EG’s Dota 2 roster is:
