As the event’s name suggests, this will be the fifth version of FISSURE Universe. Taking place between July 1 and 4, it will be an online competition with 10 teams. The tournament will be held on patch 7.39c and will have a prize pool of $250,000.

The event will have a Group Stage that will begin on July 1 and end on July 2. It will include two groups of 5 teams each (more about them later), and the best two teams from each group will advance to the Upper Bracket of the playoffs. Those who place 3rd and 4th will have to play in the Lower Bracket, whereas the remaining teams will be eliminated.

When it is time to watch the Playoffs, we will have a double-elimination bracket with Bo3 clashes. Of course, we will also have a classic Bo5 Grand Final that will determine who’s going to win the big prize. Speaking of prizes, here’s the distribution:

    • 1st – $125,000
    • 2nd – $60,000
    • 3rd – $30,000
    • 4th – $15,000
    • 5th-6th – $10,000

    Talents

Even though FISSURE Universe: Episode 5 will be an online competition, it will include many popular casters from the Dota 2 world. There will be streams in English and Russian, and people who follow them will find names like:

    • Philip “BeoMulf” Mulford
    • Luke “BluScale” Bedwell
    • Nikola “hairy_freak” Babic
    • Ahmed “Otomo” Al-Azawi

When it comes to the FISSURE Universe: Episode 5 Group Stage, both groups will allow us to see some of the best in the world. Each one will be interesting, so let’s learn more about them, the favorites, and everything we expect to happen. After all, a lot of people who will watch this tournament will also want to bet on it.

    Group A

The first group at the event consists of the following teams:

    • PARIVISION
    • Gaimin Gladiators
    • Shopify Rebellion
    • Team Tidebound
    • Team Yandex

Considering the most recent results of each team here, you can probably agree that PARIVISION is the big favorite. The European team has been on another level in 2025, and many Dota 2 fans and experts alike agree that it is the best team in the world right now.  We expect PARIVISION to rip through their competitors and have no problems advancing to the Playoffs.

Speaking of the playoffs, Gaimin Gladtiators is another team that we expect to have little to no problems here. As we’ve seen during the PGL Wallachia Season 5, GG reached the Grand Final, so they are in excellent form.

Lastly, we have Team Tidebound. The Chinese powerhouse is definitely one of the underdogs at this event, but the team has proven time and time again it can easily go up against some of the best teams in the current meta.

    Group B

Moving to Group B of FISSURE Universe: Episode 5, we have the following teams:

    • Aurora Gaming
    • AVULUS
    • HEROIC
    • Nigma Galaxy
    • Team Liquid

You can immediately tell that Team Liquid is on another level here and will most likely be one of the teams that will advance to the Playoffs. Liquid has had solid results in the last couple of months and is always one of the favorites in such events.

The second team there that we expect to achieve good results is Aurora Gaming. Despite the squad’s questionable performance at the PGL Wallachia Season 5, the team remains one of the big favorites in Group B because of its overall solid results.

    Closing Thoughts

Although this Dota 2 event may not be as big as some of the other competitions, we believe it is worth watching. Bettors and fans can expect to see many of their favorite players in action, so we can’t wait to see the final results. Don’t forget to follow Blix.gg for more details!
