By the looks of it, Games of the Future 2025 will be one of the last Dota 2 tournaments we will see in 2025. Held in Abu Dhabi, the somewhat controversial event will feature several Dota 2 teams. The reason why it is a bit controversial nowadays is because of its organizers, one of which is the Russian Ministry of Sport. It’s definitely something that deserves more attention, so let’s see everything.

Games of the Future 2025 Overview – League Information
As mentioned, the Russian Ministry of Sports is one of the tournament’s organizers, whereas the second is Games of Future. The offline tournament takes place in Abu Dhabi and people wishing to see it have to go to Pixoul, the popular arena in the city.
Something to keep in mind is that the tournament will have a total of 8 Dota 2 teams. It will be played on the patch 7.39e and will include a prize pool of $175,000. People wishing to watch can do so between December 14 and 19.
Format and Teams
Games of the Future 2025 will have a total of 8 teams that will be split into two groups. The groups are in the GSL format and all matches will be in a Bo3. Those who finish among the first two places will head to the Upper Bracket, whereas the bottom two will be in the Lower Bracket. This means we won’t see any eliminations early on.
The playoffs will feature a classic double-elimination bracket where we’ll see Bo3 games. In terms of teams, we will have the following names:
- TpaBoTeaM
- Win —
- E7
- Vikings
- Nigma Galaxy
- Monkey Business
- Paper Tigers
- Legends Rebooted
Although the tournament is not particularly large, we will see many notable names from the Dota 2 scene. Aside from Nigma Galaxy, Monkey Business will be one of the big stars because the team will have three names from OG’s two-time TI-winning roster. Players attending the competition will see the likes of Topson, Ceb and N0tail. The team also has Gorgc and pieliedie.
Paper Tiger is another name that fans will be interested in because it will have Cty, OP and BurNIng (albeit it as support).
Next on the list is Legends Rebooted and it’s a squad that has ChuaN, Mushi and old eLeVeN. It’s definitely one of the most interesting participants at the Games of the Future 2025 because all 3 of them are living legends.
Speaking of legends, the Vikings are hands down the team that will be the most interesting to watch. This is basically Alliance’s roster (AdmiralBuldog, Waga, Akke, and Loda), together with qojqva as the team’s midder.

It’s safe to say this will be an event that will be worth it, so make sure to keep an eye on it. There will be live streams in English and Russian, and we’ll try to keep you updated with everything. Remember to follow Blix.gg for more details.
