MichaÅ “Nisha” Jankowski has joined Team Liquid’s Dota 2 team completing it for the upcoming DPC season.
The 22-year-old Polish athlete, who has been playing for Team Secret from 2018 to December 2022, will take the place of superstar Lasse “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen.
This summer, MATUMBAMAN announced that he will retire after The International 2022. Team Liquid ranked third at the main Dota 2 tournament of the year. The 27-year-old Finnish athlete didn’t change his decision and left esports.
Despite the fact that Nisha is younger than MATUMBAMAN, he has a lot of achievements in his piggy bank. Like his predecessor in Liquid’s squad, he took 3-4 places on The International in different years. In the current year, he even overtook MATUMBAMAN, becoming the silver medalist of TI. In 2021, he defended Team Secret’s banner at TI together with MATUMBAMAN. He also won a lot of Tier-1 and Tier-2 tournaments as part of Team Secret in 2019-2020.
Team Liquid’s Dota 2 roster is now:
