Aurora Gaming’s Post-TI14 Roster Shuffle Explained
The Eastern European powerhouse Aurora Gaming decided it wants to make two important roster changes. After the team’s poor performance at TI (it finished 9th-13th), the organization parted ways with Gleb “kiyotaka” Zyryanov and Nikita “panto” Balaganin. The two players were a part of AG for around 6 months but failed to live up to the expectations.
Oli Returns to Aurora Gaming for the 2025 Season
Instead of panto, Aurora Gaming added Oli to their roster. The Malaysian Superstar has been around since 2017 and has played for a variety of top-tier clubs over the last couple of years. In fact, he was a part of Aurora Gaming for more than 2 years in 2023, so we are happy to see him back.
This move officially confirms that Oli joins Aurora Gaming for the 2025 competitive year, bringing experience and stability to the Aurora Gaming roster 2025.
Mikoto to Standin for FISSURE Universe: Episode 7
As for Mikoto, the situation is more complicated because he is not technically a part of AG’s roster. Instead, he will play as a standin for FISSURE Univerise: Episode 7 because the team can’t find a carry. At the time of writing, Mikoto is playing for Talon Esports, and there is no news about his departure from the SEA powerhouse.
Even though he’s listed as a stand-in, Mikoto joins Aurora Gaming temporarily for FISSURE Universe: Episode 7, giving fans a glimpse of how he might fit into their long-term Dota 2 roster.
The Challenges Ahead of Aurora Gaming
Aside from FISSURE Universe EP 7, Aurora Gaming will also take part in the other big events, such as BLAST Slam IV. The last slot for the tournament went to PARIVISION, but the team decided to withdraw their application at the last minute. As a result, Aurora Gaming took their slot and will have the chance to play against some of the best.
Aurora Gaming’s new roster featuring Mikoto and Oli marks a fresh chapter after TI14. Fans are eager to see how this lineup performs at FISSURE Universe: Episode 7.
