OG was one of the best Western European Dota 2 teams in 2022 and had a solid start in 2023. Sadly, this was not enough for the team to win any event. What’s even more surprising was that OG failed to qualify for a lot of big tournaments, including The International 12. That’s why it is no surprise it has decided to make roster changes.
OG’s new roster
It is no surprise that OG decided to make roster changes to prepare itself for the 2023-2024 Dota 2 season. Following the news, we’ve learned that the OG Dota 2 roster will look like this:
- Artem "Yuragi" Golubiev
- Bozhidar "bzm" Bogdanov
- Adrián "Wisper" Dobles
- Matthew "Ari" Walker
- Sébastien "Ceb" Debs
By the looks of it, Ceb will have the hard task of leading four young players. The good news about OG’s current draft is that 2 out of these players already have a lot of experience. Yuragiu and BZM won several big events, and they will continue giving everything they got in the upcoming season.
We will make sure to keep an eye on OG because the squad’s new roster looks interesting. Dota 2 fans definitely did not expect to see a player from South America and one from North America. However, the club decided to surprise its fans by adding Wisper and Ari. The first player used to be a part of Evil Geniuses, but the Post TI12 Dota 2 roster changes revealed that the organization disbanded its roster.
As for Ari, the latter played for TSM, a team that achieved pretty good domestic results but was never able to shine internationally. Hopefully, the young UK Dota 2 superstar will be able to reveal his full potential at OG.
