Just a few days after OG left its current Dota 2 roster, the organization is back on track. It just unveiled its all-new Filipino roster, which means it will compete in Southeast Asia. Here’s everything you need to know.
OG Revealed its new Filipino Roster
We have to say that OG surprised us yet again. After a series of unsuccessful results and the decision to drop the current roster, OG is back in action with a brand new roster that consists of 5 Filipinos. In fact, this is Team Aureus’s current roster, which took part in BLAST Slam IV.
Here is OG’s new Dota 2 roster from 1 to 5:
- John “Natsumi” Anthony Vargas
- Erin “Yopaj-” Jasper Ferrer
- Nikko “Nikko” Bilocura
- Timothy “TIMS” Randrup
- Rolen “skem” Andrei Gabriel Ong
Based on the info we have, Adam “343” Erwann Shah bin Akhtar Husseih will be the team’s coach. He used to coach Fnatic before, so it will be interesting to see his impact on the new team.
Everyone from OG’s new roster is highly recognizable in the Dota 2 scene. Natsumi, for example, played for Talon, whereas Nikko was a part of MOUZ in 2024.
Yopaj is also a big name in Dota 2 and was considered one of the best midders in the world before. He played with TIMS and skem for BOOM Esports before.
The Next Challenge for OG
Now that the team’s new roster is set, players can see OG in action at the PGL Wallachia Season 6. The tournament will be held between November 15-23 and OG can face a lot of the big names in Dota 2. Don’t forget that the tournament will also include a jaw-dropping prize pool of $1,000,000. The event will be the first big test for the new team, so we can’t wait to see what will happen.
