We had several days of epic Dota 2 games at the PGL Wallachia Season 6’s Group Stage. Now that the dust has settled, it is time to learn more about everything that happened. Let’s see which teams made it and those that are out of the competition.

PGL Wallachia Season 6 had a Swiss-Stage format, where a team had to get 3 victories to advance to the next stage or 3 defeats to be eliminated. Following all the clashes, here are the teams that made it out successfully:

    • Team Spirit
    • Team Liquid
    • OG
    • MOUZ
    • PRIVISION
    • BetBoom Team
    • Tundra Esports
    • HEROIC

Team Spirit and Team Liquid were the most dominant compared to the rest because both finished with three consecutive victories. They had little to no issues against their opponents and will advance into the Playoffs as the favorites.

In terms of surprises, there are two names that definitely stood out – OG and MOUZ. Starting with OG, this was the first tournament for the organization’s newest roster and it’s safe to say it looks promising. As for MOUZ, we are happy to see that the squad is finally seeing some success.

PARIVISION, BetBoom Team, Tundra Esports and HEROIC were the other remaining teams that made it to the Playoffs. Aside from PARIVISION, the other three had issues and barely made it out, but in the end, they succeeded.

Sadly, not all Dota 2 teams made it out. Here is a list of all teams that won’t be able to attend the PGL Wallachia Season 6 Playoffs:

    • Xtreme Gaming
    • Natus Vincere
    • GamerLegion
    • Team Tidebound
    • Nigma Galaxy
    • Yakult Brothers
    • Team Cobra
    • Roar Gaming

Team Combra and Roar Gaming lost all three games and were the first to be eliminated. To be fair, most people did not expect Team Tidebound and Yakult Brothers to be here. Both Chinese powerhouses were among the hidden favorites, but they only won one match. Nigma Galaxy also joined them with just one victory.

Na’Vi, Xtreme Gaming and GamerLegion were the two teams that barely made it out, but all of them ended with two victories and two losses. XG was the closest, but the team was unable to defeat HEROIC in the last match. This means that all three Chinese participants are now out of the events.

The Playoffs will start in just a few days, so make sure to watch the games.
