Brazilian esports organization SG esports has decided to cease its operations.
“We are announcing that we will no longer continue with company operations. We wish all the success in the world to all the players and employees who participated in this trajectory with us. Thanks to you who cheered and supported us, without you this story would not have been written!” SG’s management noted on Twitter.
SG had a Dota 2 roster but it was disbanded in early November.
SG esports took 5th-6th place in the South American qualifiers for The International 2022 and, hence, couldn’t qualify for the main tournament of the year in Singapore.
