The same is true for Team Spirit because the latter is the favorite to win the tournament.
The International 2025 Roster & Team Changes
Similar to what happens when there are other big Dota 2 events, some teams had to make last-minute changes before The International. Starting with the most recent nows, Tundra Esports had to make a roster change just a few days before the event. Matthew “Whitemon” Filemon had visa issues and was unable to attend the tournament, so Tundra had to find a replacement.
Another thing that surprised everyone was Gaimin Gladiator’s decision to forfeit its TI slot. We expected to see OG or another Western European Dota 2 team, but in the end, Valve gave the slot to Yakutou Brothers. GG was unable to attend dude to internal disputes that are still going on.
There were also rumours about Aurora Gaming’s midlaner and that he might miss TI, but it seems like this won’t be the case. This is good news for Dota 2 fans around the world because they will have the chance to see some of the best in the world.
