The second day of the Road to The International 2025 came to an end, and what a day it was. Similar to what happened after day one, the second one was a thriller. We saw our first elimination and a few other amazing results, so here is our quick recap.

Xtreme Gaming Defeated Team Falcons
Team Falcons and Xtreme Gaming were the two big winners after Day 1 because both secured two key victories. Considering the situation, people could not wait to see the match between the two and they were not disappointed.
Following a deadly three-game thriller, the Chinese powerhouse continued its domination and secured a third consecutive victory. All three games were very long, so we won’t go into detail about what happened. We highly recommend re-watching the series if you have time because both squads gave it all out on the field.
Falcons got the lead in the series after winning Game 1 but XG quickly bounced back after in games 2 and 3. The team had better drafts and knew exactly how to bring down their opponents.
Nigma Galaxy Lost Both Matches
Nigma Galaxy is definitely among the fan-favorites for TI14 but it seems like the team will have problems making it to the Main Event. Following yesterday’s questionable results, the team made two big mistakes in Day 2.
For starters, NGX did not survive the clash against Team Liquid. The latter was the favorite and secured an important victory, giving it solid chances to advance in the next stage.
After the loss, Nigma Galaxy had to play against Yakutou Brothers, a match where the MENA team was the favorite. Although it started the series with a win, the next two games did not go well. Nigma failed to capitalize on their momentum and lost maps 2 and 3, meaning the team secured a 2nd loss at TI 2025.
Team Tidebound Remains Undefeated
It seems like the Chinese Dota 2 scene is on the rise because Team Tidebound continues to dominate. Similar to Xtreme Gaming, TT won a third game in a row and this one was impressive because the team defeated PARIVISION.
We expected to see an impressive three-game thriller, but the EEU powerhouse did impress. Despite being the big favorite, PARIVISION lost both maps. Game 1 started really badly for the team, but the squad got its most comfortable heroes in Game 2 in the face of Storm and Lycan. Sadly, they were not enough to stop the Chinese powerhouse from outmaneuvering them and securing an important victory.
