Valve has announced that Dota 2 Majors will be held in Peru, Germany and Indonesia in 2023.
Following the results of the Winter Tour, the first Major of the year will be held in the capital of Peru and Lima, as per previous reports. It will be organized by 4D Esports.
After the Spring Tour, ESL will host the Berlin Major. And finally, the Summer Tour will end with the Bali Major, hosted by IO Esports.
As BLIX.GG had reported earlier, rumors about the Major in Lima were brewing in December last year. However, the political crisis that had broken out in Peru threatened the holding of the event. Riots had erupted across the country after Peruvian President Pedro Castillo announced the dissolution of parliament while the country’s parliament announced the impeachment of the head of state as a response.
