Virtus.Pro has been a shadow of its former Dota 2 glory in the last couple of years, and it seems like the organization wants to change that. As a result, the team decided to introduce a new Dota 2 roster that will compete in the upcoming season.
Virtus.Pro’s New Dota 2 Roster
The new VP Dota 2 roster will consist of players from different parts of the world. The new players will play under the VP banner, but the organization will also keep the VP.CIS tag squad. As for, VP Prodigy, the we will keep seeing the current roster in action and its goal of developing young players for the professional scene. Interestingly, the two VP rosters will compete in different regions so that they can maximize the event opportunities.
Back to he new Virtus.Pro Dota 2 roster, it will have the following names:
- Enzo “Timado” Gianoli
- Abed “Abed” Yusop
- Nikita “Daxak” Kuzmin
- Vladislav “Antares” Kertman
- Tal “Fly” Aizik
- Sam “BuLba” Sosale (coach)
Timado is one of the most popular Dota 2 players in the South American scene and he will be the new carry for VP. His last adventure was with Shopify Rebellion, where he spent almost one year.
Abed will be the new team’s mid-laner, which is good news because he used to be regarded as one of the best in the world. Abed played for various teams, and his last one was MOUZ. It looked promising on paper, but he only spent a couple of months with the club.
Daxak has been a part of the Eastern European Dota 2 scene for a while and played for several yeams over the years. His last one was Chimera Esports but he left in early January this year and has not been a part of any other team after that.
Antares is probably the least well-known name on the new VP Dota 2 roster, even though the 22-year-old has been a pro player since 2020. An interesting fact about him is that he used to be a part of VP before.
Lastly, we have Fly, the team’s captain. He is among the most-well known names in Dota 2 and played for all kinds of teams. Fly spent the last few months with AVULUS but he and the squad never had achieved a Tier 1 status.
Virtus.Pro CIS Dota 2 Roster
Aside from the new international Dota 2 roster of VP, the organization will also “save” its CIS roster. This team will have the following players:
- Alik “V-Tune” Vorobey
- Andrey “Serenada” Kushnarev
- Ivan “Мистер Мораль” Ilichev
- Ivan “OneJey” Zhivtsky
- Vladislav “Rein” Kosygin
- Artem “fng” Barshak (coach)
It’s safe to say that Virtus.Pro will be one of the most interesting Dota 2 organizations in the new season because it will have 3 different rosters. We expect to see interesting results from each, so don’t forget to follow us for more details.
