DreamLegue Season 25 will be one of the first big Dota 2 tournaments in 2025. Starting on February 16, we will have sixteen of the world’s best teams competing for a $1,000,000 reward.
Although there will be 16 teams in total, only 4 of them received an invitation because of their EPT Leaderboard placement. The other 12 have to battle in the deadly qualifiers.
Speaking of the devil, the DreamLeague Season 25 Open Qualifiers are over. We had the chance to watch epic matches across multiple regions, so it’s time to go through all of them. Many Dota 2 fans underestimate these qualifiers but the truth is that they often give us access to very high quality Dota 2 games.
Contents
North America
Every region in Dota 2 will have its own representatives, and North America is no exception. There were two Open Qualifiers, both of which offered us some exciting and unexpected results.
Starting with the first open qual, we have 3 teams that made it through:
- M2B
- Titled
- IRON
Most people were not surprised by Meant 2 Be (M2B) and the fact that they won. This team has a lot of promising players and has proven several times that it can do well.
Moving on to the 2nd DL S25 NA Open Qualifier, we got another set of 3 teams:
- SkyWalkers
- Get Rekt
- Entropia Esports
Those who have followed these squads will not be surprised by the results. All three were just better than the rest and deserved their slots for the closed qualifiers.
Dota 2 fans eager to follow the DL S25 NA Closed qualifiers will see the following teams:
- Shopify Rebellion
- Apex Genesis
- Meant 2 Be
- TiltedBoys
- Iron Clan
- SkyWalkers
- Get Rekt
- Entropia Esport
Shopify Rebellion is undoubtedly the big favorite here, but we will see who’s gonna make it out alive.
South America
Both Open Qualifiers in South America feature several teams we have been following for some time. These are the 3 squads that will succeed in the first Open Quals:
- FUSION
- Perro Negro
- Hokori
FUSION and Perro Negro had no problems because they secured the first two spots. Hokori, on the other hand, had to fight for that last slot against Blade Breakers.
Now that the open qualifiers in South America are over, fans will be eager to watch the Closed Qualifiers. They will definitely be more interesting because we’ll have access to the following teams:
- M80
- HEROIC
- FUSION
- Perro Negro
- Hokori
- Team Waska
- Fantasy Gaming
- Infamous
Needless to say, HEROIC is the team that everyone will look at because it is the big favorite. Like North America, South America will only have 1 slot.
Western Europe
Since Western Europe is the strongest Dota 2 region, it is no surprise that the DreamLeague Season 25 Open Qualifiers were exciting. Now that the dust has settled, we will have the following teams going to the closed quals:
- Team Turkiye – Open Qualifier #1
- Jigglin – Open Qualifier #2
Both of these names impressed us with their results, but Jigglin was on another level. This squad has the likes of MinD_ContRoL and Lelis, so it is no surprise it ripped through the competition.
Speaking of competitions, the DreamLeague S25 WEU Closed qualifiers will be very, very interesting. Here are all of the names we will see in action:
- AVULUS
- Tundra Esports
- Na’Vi Junior
- Gaimin Gladiators
- Passion UA
- OG
- Team Turkiye
- Jigglin
The good news is that these closed qualifiers have 3 slots. This is great because we can see a lot of big names here who definitely deserve to be among the DL S25 finalists.
Eastern Europe
Moving on to the DreamLeague Season 25 Eastern Europe Open Qualifiers, we also saw a lot of action. Interestingly, both qualifiers gave us access to some of the best teams in the region, and they did not disappoint us. Here are the names that will advance to the closed quals:
- Virtus.Pro – Open Qualifier #1
- 9Pandas – Open Qualifier #1
- ASAKUSA – Open Qualiifer #2
Unlike the Closed Qualifiers in Western Europe, where there will be 3 slots, EEU will only have two. This is bad news for the teams involved because we will see some of the best in the world. Here is the complete roster:
- Virtus.Pro
- 9Pandas
- ASAKUSA
- Na’Vi
- Team Spirit
- 1win Team
- L1GA TEAM
- One Move
MESWA
MESWA has become one of the more intriguing Dota 2 regions, and for a very good reason. The teams here are becoming better and better, so here are the names that stood out in the DreamLeague Season 25 MESWA Open Qualifiers:

- Advance Esports – Open Qualifier #1
- Wolf Warriors – Open Qualifier #1

China
The Chinese Dota 2 scene is in a fairly good state now because there are a lot of top-tier teams. Like all other regions, this also had 2 DreamLeague Season 25 Open Qualifiers, so here are the teams that made it out alive:

- Team Essence – Open Qualifier #1
- Team Kukuys – Open Qualifier #1
- Yangon Galacticos – Open Qualifier #2
The Southeast Asia DreamLeague Season 25 Closed Qualifiers will be among the most interesting because pretty much all teams have the chance to get the two slots. Speaking of the devil, here are the names that we will see:

- Execration
