According to sources close to BLIX, Brazilian organization E1 Sports are set to lose two of their most experienced players, Leonardo “Astro” Luis and Enzo “Rappz” Aziz, in the near future. While BLIX is unable to determine who will replace the duo, it is understood the list has been narrowed to a few potential candidates.
The decision to part ways with Astron and Rappz is fairly surprising as E1 performed well in their debut in the Brazil League, finishing in sixth place after being knocked out by Black Dragons. Additionally, as previously mentioned, Astro and Rappz are players with significant international contributions and experience. Astro won the Six Sweden Major 2021 with FaZe, and Rappz notched a third-place finish at the Six Invitational 2021 with MIBR.
For their positions, a source has indicated that players “Fxrias” and Pedro “Naka” Nakasone were tested. Naka, who recently played for Nova Six, has previous experience in the South American Championship with Malvinas, with the squad winning the event in 2022.
The organization has not officially commented on the changes but approached by BLIX, asserts that they will soon make a public statement on the matter. The team will already feature this change for the off-season Rush Series tournament, who’s qualifier is set to start in ten days.
