Sources: EG reach verbal agreement with JACKZ and zorte; targeting EliGE and electroNic

According to sources familiar with the situation, BLIX understands that Evil Geniuses have made substantial progress in determining their roster post player break. The most interesting part of his news is that Evil Geniuses are in talks with current Liquid player Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski alongside NAVI star Denis "electroNic" Sharipov about the potential of joining the Seattle-based organization.

Additionally, it is understood that Evil Geniuses have reached verbal agreements to sign Aleksandr "zorte" Zagodyrenko and Audric "JACKZ" Jug, with the latter move first being reported by Guillaume "neL" Rathier of 1pv. Alongside the incoming duo, Evil Geniuses are understood to be likely retaining Sanzhar "neaLaN" Iskhakov and Timothy "autimatic" Ta for the latter half of 2023.

Per BLIX’s sources, electroNic’s addition to Evil Geniuses is being viewed as a realistic possibility and the more likely option between Evil Geniuses and Cloud9. As for EliGE, talks have progressed between Liquid and Evil Geniuses, with the player’s buyout approaching six figures, sources tell BLIX.

This transfer season has been quite active for Evil Geniuses, as BLIX knows other options EG considered were Aurélien "afro" Drapier and Florian "syrsoN" Rische. Additionally, neL and HLTV.org also reported EG were interested in Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas earlier in the off season, however the latter player seems to have closed in on a deal with Falcons.

As for current EG member Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte, his future on Evil Geniuses is uncertain at this time,and he is exploring different offers.
