Czech professional esports organization Entropiq has placed the entire CS:GO roster on the transfer list, HLTV.org reports.
Entropiq’s CEO Daniel Kloud said to the outlet that there are two reasons for this decision. First, the team didn’t reach their goals in 2022. In addition, the nationality of all players is Russian, making business difficult after the Russian invasion in Ukraine.
“We didn’t achieve our goals this year for various reasons. We especially regret the unsuccessful qualifications for the last two Majors. At the same time, since the beginning of the war [in Ukraine], it has been impossible to fulfil business goals associated with our CIS roster. For these reasons we decided to place the team on a transfer list,” he said.
He clarified that the team, among other things, faced visa problems.
“Due to visa issues, our players couldn’t attend IEM Dallas for which they qualified through tough competition. This resulted in our absence at IEM Cologne as well,” Kloud said.
The roster will continue to play under the Entropiq banner while the organization entertains offers for both individual players and the team as a whole.
Entropiq CS:GO lineup is:
- Aleksey “NickelBack” Trofimov (in-game leader)
- Vladislav “Krad” Kravchenko
- Igor “Forester” Bezotecheskiy
- Nikolay “mir” Bityukov
- Dmitriy “hooch” Bogdanov (coach)
