A couple of days ago, there were rumors swirling around that TI12 finalists Gaimin Gladiators would be going through some big roster changes. In fact, some people even said most players would be leaving the team to join Tundra Esports. However, it seems like this isn’t actually the case and by the looks of it, Gaimin Gladiator will keep its roster intact.
Gaimin Gladiators will consist of the same players
According to Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp, he and the rest of his team will be staying together for the 2024 competitive season. The player said he’s really excited for the future and he and his team will try to repeat the same dominant results by winning 66% of all T1 tournaments.
The reason it’s safe to say Gaimin Gladiators will be staying the same is because Seleri tagged all of his teammates on Twitter, shutting down the rumors there would be massive roster changes.
Gaimin Gladiators in 2023 and the future
If you haven’t followed Gaimin Gladiators over the 2023 season, the team achieved some of the best results in Dota 2’s history. Sure, the squad couldn’t win The International, but they lifted the trophy in numerous other tournaments, including all Valve Majors, DreamLeague, as well as several other tournaments.
It is safe to say Gaimin Gladiators was the most consistent team out of any Dota 2 squad in 2023. It was absolutely the favorite to take the win at The International 12 right up until the Riyadh Masters 2023. That was when Team Spirit started dominating once again, which reflected on their odds to win Valve’s most prestigious tournament.
In terms of Gaimin Gladiator’s future, the squad has enough experience to overcome any obstacle ahead of them. It will be very intriguing to follow their progress through the latest Dota 2 updates, because as we’ve seen that the team that understands the current meta better is the team that dominates.
