Today's guide will cover a hero, Bebop. This character boasts high survivability and deals significant damage. The downside, however, is their low mobility. Nonetheless, their abilities enable them to draw enemy heroes towards them rather than chasing after the enemies.

Hero Stats

The essential characteristics of this character are ordinary, but the type of damage he deals with is unique. Bebop takes time to charge his laser and then starts dealing continuous damage.

Deadlock hero: Bebop Vitality Stats

Vitality Stats are slightly different from the standard stats. Bebop has an innate 10%bullet resistance, greatly enhancing this character's survivability. In addition, Sprint Speed has a nice bonus, which is3 m/s.

Abilities

Exploding Uppercut

Deadlock hero Bebop: Exploding Uppercut

Bebop's first ability is the Exploding Uppercut. It functions as a modifier for our light attack. When we use this ability, our hero will throw the target upwards, causing damage. When the target lands, it will also deal area damage. If we use Exploding Uppercut on our allies, they will not take damage but will deal area-of-effect damage when they land.

Since Bebop's first ability is a light attack modifier, the following items go well: Melee Lifesteal, Spirit Strike, and Lifestrike.

Melee Lifesteal will allow us to regain health when using the first ability. Spirit Strike will enable us to deal additional damage.

Also, remember that opponents can block a light or charged attack, but they cannot block an Exploding Uppercut.

Sticky Bomb

The second ability of this character is Sticky Bomb.

The hero's second ability is Sticky Bomb, which can be attached to any object, including enemies, allies, enemy creeps, allied creeps, or buildings.

The ability works as follows: Bebop places a bomb on the selected target, which detonates after 3 seconds and explodes, dealing area damage. The bomb's damage increases by 2.5% for each enemy hero hit.

Bebop can also apply this ability on himself.

Hook

Bebop's third ability is Hook.

This ability allows you to attract both allied and enemy heroes.

Remember that Hook and the Exploding Uppercut ability go well together. When using a Hook, you can propel yourself in your desired direction and then use an Exploding Uppercut, which will push your opponent in that chosen direction.

Hyper Beam

This character's ultimate ability is Hyper Beam.

Our hero charges the Ultimate ability for a while. After the charging period, he starts dealing considerable damage in the chosen direction and slows down opponents.

Bebop's movement speed and turning speed are significantly reduced while using the Ultimate ability. However, opponents who get close to us while Hyper Beam is active will also take damage from it.

The Ultimate ability can also be used in the air, allowing the character to hover above the ground and deal laser damage. However, nearby opponents will only receive damage if they are on the same level as your hero.

Skill Build

On the first level, prioritize pumping Sticky Bomb. This will increase your damage and apply significant pressure on your opponents.

We upgrade Hook once and allocate the additional skill point to Sticky Bomb to further decrease its cooldown. Then, we prioritize leveling up Exploding Uppercut, which allows us to throw the enemy hero under the tower.

The subsequent two skill points should be invested in enhancing Sticky Bomb. Following that, we prioritize leveling up Hyper Beam. Subsequently, allocate 3 skill points to upgrade Exploding Uppercut to reduce its cooldown, enabling quicker accumulation of laser damage.

First, we need to maximize Sticky Bomb to disarm enemies.

Next, we should boost Hook to debuff enemy heroes and deal more damage to them.

Finally, we must maximize Hyper Beam to increase its damage and gain additional lifesteal. After that, we should focus on upgrading the Hook and Exploding Uppercut.

Item Build

Laning Stage

In the laning stage, we should prioritize purchasing Mystic Burst as our first item. This item will enable us to exert significant pressure on our opponents with the Sticky Bomb ability.

Following that, acquiring Mystic Reach is essential to extend the range of our abilities and items. Next, we should invest in Spirit Strike to enhance significantly our damage output with Exploding Uppercut.

Finally, obtaining Extra Stamina and Sprint Boots will enhance our character's mobility. If we find ourselves in a hard lane dominating our opponents, we can purchase Melee Lifesteal anytime. This item will enable us to hold our ground more comfortably.

Deadlock Bebop: Laning Stage items

Early Game

After the laning stage, the first item to buy is Fleetfoot to increase our character's mobility.

Next, we should purchase Spirit Lifesteal and Soul Shredder Bullets. These will help us reduce the enemy's resistance to mystic power when shooting at them, as well as steal their lives with the damage dealt.

Following that, it's essential to upgrade our boots to Enduring Speed and Improved Cooldown to reduce the cooldown of our abilities.

We should then consider increasing our survivability. If so, we must sell Melee Lifesteal and buy Bullet Armor or Spirit Armor.

Mid Game

In the middle stage of the game, the first thing to do is to buy Improved Burst to increase the damage of Sticky Bomb.

After that, purchase Surge of Power and use it on the second ability. This will give you damage and additional movement speed when using Sticky Bomb.

Next, buy an Echo Shard to recharge the second ability quickly. The next item to buy is Warp Stone. This will allow you to reach the enemy heroes rapidly. Lastly, purchase Mystic Reverb and use it for the second ability.

This will allow you to deal even more damage with Sticky Bomb. If necessary, upgrade Improved Bullet Armor or Improved Spirit Armor.

If you need additional control, buy Curse.

Late Game

In the game's final stage, we can enhance our build further. First, we should purchase Superior Cooldown and use it to speed up the recharge of our second ability, Sticky Bomb.

Next, we should buy Improved Reach to extend the range of our abilities.

Superior Stamina is a good option if we need to boost the hero's mobility.

Finally, we should invest in Spiritual Overflow and Boundless Spirit to further increase our mystic damage.
