Greetings to all Dota 2 fans! The Blix team is excited to present a comprehensive and organized guide to completing the fourth act of the Crownfall event, which became available on November 8, 2024. This act marks the conclusion of the series of events. The event will run until January 15, 2025, giving you plenty of time to earn all the rewards and stylish hero arcana.

General Information

The fourth act is the final part of the event, and successfully navigating it requires speed and a strategic approach to maximize your rewards. It’s vital to prioritize quickly completing the map and essential tasks. This guide will outline the general steps and methods to follow.

The Key Features of the Fourth Act Map

1. Three different directions of movement. Three branches are on the map, each leading to heroes: Skywrath Mage, Vengeful Spirit, and Kez.
2. Token exchange and gift shop. Tokens can be exchanged or sent to friends through the central branch. This innovation from the fourth act helps save time when collecting resources.
3. Pathfinder Pack. It includes exclusive cosmetic items. You can purchase it at the event store.

To complete all the tasks, you will need to purchase a Skywrath Pathfinder Pack. This pack includes custom towers, an immortal item for the hero Bloodseeker featuring the Rapture effect, and a Batrider mount with the Sticky Napalm effect. Additionally, you will have the chance to receive other rewards, such as treasures, tokens, and various bonuses.

Mini-games

Although mini-games are not required for detailed progression, achieving a certain number of stars in them provides valuable bonuses and rewards.

Castle Carnage 

The game, which is similar to the classic Worms, features nine rooms, each with varying difficulty levels. Each room offers a maximum of 3 stars. To earn a token, you only need to collect a total of 9 stars, so it’s not necessary to complete each challenge with a full 3 stars.

The Fundamental Rules and Concepts of the Game.

The Spleen Sweeper operates on the classic “Minesweeper” principle. Your objective is to locate and mark all the mines while avoiding clicking on them. When you click on an empty cell, a field will open around it, displaying numbers that indicate how many mines are in the adjacent cells (within a radius of eight cells around each number).

Strategies for Starting the Game

1. The first click is always safe:

You can begin from any location on the field. The first cell will not contain a mine, and the openings of the surrounding cells will start with it.

2. Working with numbers:

“One:” If there are no other open cells adjacent to the number “1,” it indicates that only one mine is nearby. Mark it with a checkmark, and do not touch it again.

“Twos and Threes:” When there are open cells surrounding the numbers “2” or “3,” remember that the number of mines around them corresponds to the number indicated. Once you have marked the mines, you can safely open the adjacent cells.

3. Using corners and edges:

Start with the edges and corners, as they are easier to calculate. If there is a “1” in a corner and only one free cell, that cell is a mine.

Advanced Technique: Quick Click

Valve improved the gameplay by introducing a new feature: when all the mines surrounding a number are marked, clicking on that cell will automatically reveal the safe cells around it. This enhancement speeds up the game.

Time Limit

The Spleen Sweeper has a timer, so it’s important to keep up before it expires. It may seem challenging at first, but with practice, you will master the basic techniques and learn to fit in at the right moments.

Using the Ability

The ability is useful when you cannot locate a mine. Activate it if you are uncertain about the safe cage. This will provide a temporary buffer and increase the chances of avoiding accidental detonation.

Practice and Planning

With practice, you will quickly master the counting logic and make faster decisions. Take your time at first; with experience, you will complete all five stages more efficiently and accurately.

To complete this game, you will need to finish three stages. It is reminiscent of childhood games, where you must place bombs to eliminate opponents, clear passages, and open the exit to progress to the next level. Various boosters will drop from enemies and appear on the map.

In the third stage, you must find three keys to access the passage, which will open after all opponents have been defeated.

The faster you complete each level, the more points you earn. After finishing Spoon Man, you will receive a token to pass through the gate.

The Final Event and the Fight With Imperia

The final task of the fourth act is to survive for 12 minutes, gather resources, and prepare for the battle against the final boss, Imperia.

1. Choosing a hero and leveling up. Every character possesses unique abilities, and you can select additional skills before the event begins.
2. Battle waves and bosses. Every three minutes, mini-bosses spawn, providing valuable resources to enhance your hero. For instance, a red golem can be resurrected twice, while ghosts are equipped with shields and cast spells in the vicinity.
3. The final battle. In the final hall, Imperia awaits you, summoning minions and using powerful spells. We recommend hiding behind the columns to avoid falling victim to AoE abilities; otherwise, it will be difficult to escape them.

In this guide, the Blix team shares their experience in defeating the 4th act boss of the game. We will explore effective strategies, character building approaches, ability selections, and the best items to ensure successful completion.

Character selection and build

We choose Dragonus, a hero known for his powerful magic attacks at this stage. His critical ability allows him to launch an additional projectile, although this comes at the cost of a slight reduction in health by 20 HP. The primary strategy for him is to focus on a magic build, as his abilities are perfect for inflicting damage from a distance.

The Start of the Game and Movement on the Map

At the beginning of the game, three important objects will appear on the map: two chests and one magnet. Our first objective is to head to the chests to collect valuable items that will enhance our abilities. As we make our way there, we will defeat skeletons to earn experience points and level up.

Leveling up abilities and artifacts

Blix team recommends focusing on Spirits and Magic Missile for effective passage and better control over enemies. Lich or Lina’s ultimates are also suitable for dealing significant area damage. Collecting magic damage with this tactic involves:

• Kaya — increases damage as a percentage.
• Phylactery — increases the damage and reduces cooldown.
• Bloodstone — expands the range of abilities.
• Yasha — for movement speed; increases damage when combined with Kaya.

These items will help you build a strong setup for future battles.

Bosses and Mini-bosses

In the game, a mini–boss appears every three minutes. The most challenging one is a group of archers, whose attacks demand quick reactions and strong dodging skills. The other mini-bosses are easier to handle, but each has unique characteristics. For instance, one mini-boss splits into smaller enemies when defeated, making the battle more difficult.

Tactics Against 5 Skeleton Archers

This battle presents a significant challenge, as archers inflict considerable damage from a distance, making it difficult to locate a suitable enemy to attack. It’s crucial to steer clear of narrow passages and corridors to avoid potential traps. If you can successfully build your damage output, the fight will proceed more quickly, but you’ll need to be cautious with your movements and dodges.

Aghanim’s Scepter and Improvements

After defeating the mini-boss, the player receives an Aganim to enhance their abilities. It is recommended to spend rerolls to improve Wisp’s Spirits, as this ability can significantly impact the outcome of a battle.

The Final Boss Fight

After 12 minutes, the final boss appears. When the boss fight begins, most enemy units will disappear. It’s important to note that the fight with the final boss is generally easier than facing a group of skeleton archers. The primary strategies to remember are: move around the boss, avoid projectiles, and take cover behind columns during certain attacks.

After the final battle, you will watch a short video that reveals the continuation of the plot.

After finishing the fourth act and defeating Imperia, you will have the opportunity to earn rewards, which include style for arcana for the heroes Vengeful Spirit and Skywrath Mage. To unlock the third style for Vengeful Spirit, you need to complete all tasks across all four acts.
