More than half of the players will not be able to access the Elden Ring DLC content on the day of its release. This is not a bug, and the Shadow of the Erdtree content will be available after you complete the quest chain in Elden Ring.
To access the content, you must kill two bosses, Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood. Afterward, you must interact with a "withered hand" in Mohgwyn's Palace to start the DLC.

What is the Fastest Way to Reach Shadow of the Erdtree?
Reach the Mohgwyn Palace by finding a portal on the cliff's edge. Collect both halves of the Secret Haligtree Medallion at the Consecrated Snowfield and use them at the Grand Lift of Rold.
After using teleportation, you will appear at Mohgwyn Palace. From there, you must find your way to the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC entrance.
