Costa Rican Club Sport Herediano has announced the launch of Herediano esports.
âWe will have a greater presence with broadcasts and tournaments of games such as Rocket League, FIFA, LoL and Football Manager, so we are looking for young and talented players with a hunger and desire to grow, ânoted in Herediano’s statement.
Besides these disciplines, Herediano is looking for Call of Duty, Free Fire Fortnite, Valorant and Dota 2 players – as can be seen in the esports section of the club’s website.
Herediano officials noted that esports in Latin America generated revenue of 47.5 million dollars this year, driven by a 43.8 million audience.
Club Sport Herediano has more than a century of history. Although they compete in a number of different sports, Herediano is mainly known for its association soccer team. The club has never dropped out of the Primera División de Costa Rica.
