If you want to know how to appear offline in League of Legends, you have come to the right place. There are different ways to achieve this, and the LoL team at Blix.gg is about to reveal all of them.

How to Look Offline in League of Legends

If you want to appear offline while playing League of Legends, you have a couple of options ahead of you. The first one is to use different third-party tools, such as Deceive. The latter is simple to use and only requires you to download it on your device and turn it on. Once ready, simply open League of Legends and start playing.

Setting up Your Status to Invisible

Assuming you do not want to rely on any third-party apps, you can still appear offline in League of Legends if you set your status to Invisible. Now, it’s worth knowing that this option will not make you look completely “invisible”. Instead, you will not appear on your friends’ list. They can still see when you are in-game, however, so keep that in mind.

If you decide to use this option, you have to do the following:

    • Go to Riot’s clients.
    • Select the “Social Tab” located on the right, and then choose your profile pic.
    • Once there, choose the option called “Invisible”.

Logging out of the Chat Option

One of the most annoying things in League of Legends is when people start messaging you, even though you don’t want it. Fortunately, those wondering how to appear offline in LoL can disable the chat function. This will be possible by following these requirements:

    • Go to Riot’s client.
    • Select “Settings” and then simply choose “Sign out of Chat”.

Once done, you will be disconnected from the chat, and your friends won’t be able to contact you.

    Using Firewall

Alongside the three options mentioned so fart, you can also try appearing offline in League of Legends using your firewall. With that said, this method is a lot more complicated, so we don’t recommend it unless you really need it.

To make a long story short, you will need to tweak your PC’s firewall settings and ensure that Riot’s clients can’t access its social services.

What are the Advantages of Being Offline in League in League of Legends?

Like Dota 2 and other competitive MOBAs, LoL requires concentration to be effective. Sadly, many people have problems with it because they get distracted by random messages. This is one of the reasons why becoming offline while playing can be a problem.

Aside from focusing on your gameplay, being offline also gives you a sense of privacy. It’s really hard to explain, but there are cases where people just want to be left alone and play instead of interacting with others.

Make sure to follow Blix.gg regularly if you don’t want to miss out on any League of Legends news, guides, or predictions.
