Niship “Dhokla” Doshi has been with 100 Thieves since July this year, when he joined as a coach. However, just one month later, the organization assigned him a player role. He will be alongside Rayan “Sniper” Shoura, the team’s current top laner.
Dhokla and 100 Thieves
To be honest, this decision surprised a lot of people, especially after the organization’s most recent announcement. In case you forgot, 100 Thieves said they will exit LTA North in late 2025. Despite that, it seems the squad does not want to go down without a fight, so Dhokla was added as a player.
The team’s coach said that the new player has had a positive impact on the team “culturally and competitively”. Since he is a top-laner, he will share the role with Sniper, but this allows the team to have more flexibility in drafts. The end goal with this “transfer” is to help 100 Thieves qualify for Worlds, the event that will take place soon.
Following the most recent change, 100 Thieves has the following roster:
- Lim “Quid” Hyeon-seung
- Kim “River” Dong-woo
- Victor “FBI” Huang
- Bill “Eyla” Nguyen
- Rayan “Sniper” Shoura
- Niship “Dhokla” Doshi
It’s safe to say that having 6 people on your team is an interesting move. It opens new possibilities and strategies, but we will have to wait and see if it will be enough for the team to qualify for Worlds.
The Final Split
As mentioned, this will be 100 Thieves’ final split. Once the season is over, the team will step away from the LTA after selling its slot to another brand. It will definitely be interesting to see what happens, so make sure to follow us for more details.
