FlyQuest partnered with Eterna, an all-women roster in League of Legends and will participate in the League of Legends Game Changers Rising tournament. The NA squad decided to use Eterna’s impressive results in the Open Qualifiers.
FlyQuest and Eterna
Eterna surprised the women’s LoL scene by ripping through everyone in the Open Qualifiers. The team already won its first match against Solar Academy and will go up against Vitality Rising Bees on September 21.
Considering this success, it was a matter of time before one of the Riot-partnered organizations picked up the team. FlyQuest decided to dive into it and became the 4th organization to enter EMEA’s first all-women’s LoL event by Riot. This happened just a few days after Eterna’s manager announced that the team is looking for a sponsorship deal.
Aside from FlyQuest, we will also see Team Vitality, SK Gaming, and G2 Esports because they also have women’s rosters. The difference is that FlyQuest decided to sponsor the team for the particular tournament, not permanently.
LoL Game Changers Rising EMEA
After a quick look at all of the League of Legends Game Changers Rising teams, we can see that Eterna will have a hard time. The team had to go through the open qualifiers and will need to face some of the best in the world.
Speaking of the devil, most people will agree that G2 HEL, Salary Academy and Gallions Pearl are among the big favorites. Eterna already defeated Solary Academy in a shocking game, but we will have to wait and see the results once everything is over.
Eterna is currently in Group B, together with Salolary Academy, Rising Bees and SK Gaming Avarosa. For now, both of them and SK Gaming Avarosa have one victory, so we can’t wait to see what’s going to happen in the clash between them.
