French League of Legends player Steven “Hans sama” Liv is close to joining G2 Esports, esports journalist Brieuc “LEC Wooloo” Seeger reported.
Hans sama had interest from many teams including MAD, SK, BDS & KC. In the end the decision came down to VIT, FNC & G2. Hans sama has now decided for G2 Esports, according to sources, and is set to sign with them. Hans being a free agent helped make him an attractive pick.
Hans sama left Team Liquid in September after Team Liquid’s co-founder and co-CEO Steve “LiQuiD112” Arhancet promised to renew the team after a disastrous performance last season.
Earlier rumors circulated that Hans Sama wants to return to Europe, and several European teams have expressed interest in him. One of them, Karmine Corp, made an offer to him.
