Korean esports team T1 and its player Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok have filed a lawsuit against those who made malicious comments targeting the player.
“Despite T1âs repeated requests towards those that leave malicious comments, we found that not only were there more of these comments, but also have gotten more malicious. The player, the playerâs family, and all those around him continue to suffer on a mental level, so we had no choice to file a criminal lawsuit against those that left such spiteful online comments,” lawyers said in a statement.
T1 also notified that it will protect each of its affiliated members from unjustified attacks. Earlier this year, T1 filed lawsuits against people who verbally attacked their coach, Kim âMomentâ Ji-hwan.
