The annual League Awards 2025 took place yesterday and they were hosted by Marc “Caedrel” Lamont and Eefje “Sjokz” Depoortere. We saw some interesting moments, including Caedrel shaving his head after failing to predict Worlds 2025. There were also several interesting rewards, so let’s learn more about them.

Chovy Wins the Player of the Year Award

A message to the fans from Chovy!

    Congratulations! 🏆#LeagueAwards pic.twitter.com/Tz9JiRqya1

    — League Awards (@LeagueAwards) November 28, 2025

The first trophy that LoL fans had access to was Player of the Year and it was an intense battle between Gen.G’s superstar Chovy and the Worlds 2025 winner Faker. It was definitely a close call, but Chovy ended up winning. He was terrific throughout the year and if it was not KT’s shocking result versus Gen.G, the latter would have won.

Aside from these two, players could also vote for the following:

    • Viper
    • Oner
    • Bdd
    • Kiin
    • Gumayusi
    • Doggo
    • Keria
    • Ruler
    • Knight
    • Tarzan

Inspired Wins the LTA Player of the Year

Kacper “Inspired” Sioma won the LTA Player of the Year award. The jungler from FlyQuest wins the title for the 2nd time in a row. Interestingly, he may join Lyon Gaming for 2026, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Here are the other nominated players besides him:

    • River
    • Busio
    • Trymbi
    • Bwipo
    • Massu
    • Dhokla
    • Quid
    • Mireu

Caps won the LEC Player of the Year

    — League Awards (@LeagueAwards) November 28, 2025

This was one of the closest voting because several players had the chance to win the award. In the end, Rasmus “Caps” Winther won the award after he also got the LEC Player of the Year trophy. Aside from him, here are all of the others that were nominated:

    • Supa
    • SkewMond
    • BrokenBlade
    • Alvaro
    • Canna
    • Elyoya
    • Jojopyun
    • Caliste
    • Hans Sama

Tarzan is the LPL Player of the Year

This is probably not surprising to most people because the jungler Tarzan won the best LPL Player of the Year award. The Korean powerhouse was one of the big reasons why Anyone’s Legends did so well at Worlds 2025, even though the team did not win. In terms of nominations, here are all of the names we saw:

    • Shanks
    • Knight
    • Flandre
    • Bin
    • Kanavi
    • GALA
    • JackeyLove
    • Kael
    • 369

BDD Became the LCK Player of the Year

    A long time coming!! 🕚

Bdd is your LCK Player of the Year! 🏆#LeagueAwards pic.twitter.com/anRQ2TEqCo

    — League Awards (@LeagueAwards) November 28, 2025

It is no surprise that KT Rolster’s midlaner BDD became the division’s player of the year. He was one of the best throughout the season and helped his team achieve great results. These were all of the other nominees:

    • Viper
    • Peanut
    • Ruler
    • Chovy
    • Oner
    • Faker
    • Kiin
    • Keria
    • Duro

Doggo is the LCP Player of the Year

Doggo from CTBC Flying Oyster became the LCP player of the year. Everyone who’s been following the team and the region is probably not surprised because his aggressive playstyle has helped his team many times. In fact, CFO surprised everyone by defeating T1 at Worlds 2025.

Here are the names that were paired up against him:

    • Kaiwing
    • FoFo
    • Driver
    • REst
    • Karsa
    • HongQ
    • Taki
    • Junjia
    • Levi

    — League Awards (@LeagueAwards) November 28, 2025

This is probably the most unsurprising result of all. T1 were once again crowned as the Team of the Year at the League Awards 2025 following their impressive victory at Worlds 2025. Some people thought that Gen.G could steal it because of their good overall results, but this wasn’t the case.

Here are all the teams that were nominated:

    • G2
    • Movistar KOI
    • KT Rolster
    • Gen.G
    • FlyQuest
    • Anyone’s Legend
    • Karmine Corp
    • CTBC Flying Oyster
    • Hanwha Life Esports

HongQ is the Rookie of the Year

The League of Legends community decided to name HongQ as the rookie of the year. The young midder played really well for CFO and it will be interesting to see if he can continue with his performance in 2026. Here are all of the other names that were nominated:

    • Loki
    • Vladi
    • Caliste
    • SkewMond
    • Diable

Chronicler Became the Broadcast Talent of the Year

Well deserved, thanks for the memories🥹

    — League Awards (@LeagueAwards) November 28, 2025

The broadcaster talent trophy is always interesting because you never know what’s going to happen. There were several names that could have stolen the show, but in the end, Chronicler got the award. Here are all of the other names that were involved:

    • Jeesun
    • Emily
    • Laure
    • Vedius
    • Atlus
    • Kobe
    • Medic
    • Drakos
    • CaptainFlowers

IWDominate is the Esports Creator Talent of the Year

It’s probably ot surprising that Christian “IWDominate” Rivera became the Esports Creator of the Year. He is a popular streamer who actually shaved his head because he made the same bet about T1 as Caedrel.

Baus is the Community Creator Talent of the Year

An interesting fact is that Simon “Baus” Hofverberg received the Community Content Creator of the Year and he wore the same suit that he had for his prom. The popular streamer had little to no competition, but here are all of the other names you’ll find:

    • NattyNat
    • Drututt
    • Rival
    • Kesha
    • Dumbs
    • Necrit
    • MrsChimChim
    • Azzapp
    • AloisNL

Mundo PUSH PUSH PUSH From, AloisNL won the Content Piece of the Year

The Dutch LoL streamer got the Content Piece of the Year after he became popular for cosplaying Dr Mundo while playing in the top lane.

    • Ludwig grinds to Plat
    • Worlds Finals Teaser
    • Dhokla Worlds Vlogs
    • GIVE ME CHAOS
    • As Long as There is Delusion
    • LEAGUE LORE
    • Welcome to Noxus

Papayou won the Fan Art Piece of the Year

What a way to thank the community! 🤩@PapayouFR #LeagueAwards pic.twitter.com/M29KK2zUbm

    — League Awards (@LeagueAwards) November 28, 2025

The amazing T1 pieces from the French comic artist Papayou won the Fan Art of the Year award. After winning the trophy, he actually shared a new drawing to thank the people who voted. Aside from him, fans could also choose from the following:

    • LTANzine by @delfidotwv
    • Jakkisenpai
    • Seasons Greetings by @hannivai
    • Fluffjwi2
    • Flowrmosh
    • LEC Fan Alley by @daysiewish @cori0lis
    • Sorrowtalks

T1 Completing the 3-peat won the Moment of the Year

It’s no surprise that the historic three-peat from T1 won them the Moment of the Year award. Here are all of the other moments that made it to the voting:

    • Farewell, Peanut!
    • Oner first-times Mundo
    • 100T pull off upset over BLG
    • Doran is a kruglord
    • Goodbye sweet prince, Chronicler
    • KT stun Gen.G to make Finals
    • Kobe wants to be a KT fan

Keria Fakes Out Anyone’s Legend won the Play of the Year award

    — League Awards (@LeagueAwards) November 28, 2025

The last of the League Awards 2025 that we saw in action was for the Play of the Year award. It went in favor of Keria after the player’s amazing performance against Anyone’s Legend. Here are all of the other nominations besides that:

    • Chovy’s Orianna saves the base
    • Guma slides on Ashe
    • Chovy’s shockwave ginds them all
    • Keria is a… wolf?
    • Bdd’s nasty Zoe
    • Oner gets a pentakill on Jarvan IV
    • KT Bdd defends the base
    • Busio’s bard embarrasses G2
