The League of Legends Asia Invitational 2025 is a fairly big event taking place just a few days prior to Worlds 2025. As we reported, it will feature the teams that did not qualify for Worlds. The event began today, so here are all the teams that will participate in it.
2025 Asia Invitational – Teams
The League of Legends 2025 Asia Invitational features a total of 8 teams, competing for a prize pool of approximately $ 210,000. After the qualifying matches for Worlds 2025 came to an end, here is the final lineup of all squads:
- JD Gaming
- Wikings Esports
- GAM Esports
- NS RedForce
- FEARX
- Ninjas in Pyjamas
- Weibo Gaming
- Dplus
The tournament officially started today, and at the time of writing, Dplus already has one victory after defeating JD Gaming. We expect to see loads of other matches in the next couple of days until the Grand Final arrives, which will be on October 9.
Group A has the following teams – Dplus, Weibo Gaming, GAM Esports and JD Esports. Moving on to Group B, we will see FEARX, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Nongshm RefForce, and Vikings Esports. We can definitely spot some of the favorites already, but this seems to be one of those events where you never know what’s going to happen.
In terms of distributing the prize pool, here is what it will look like:
- 1st place – ~$84K.
- 2nd place – ~$56K
- 3rd place – $28K
- 4th place – $21K
- 5th-6th place – $5.2K
- 7th-8th place – $5.2K
