League of Legends Game Changers Rising – Overview
As mentioned, this will be Riot’s first women’s League of Legends tournament for EMEA. The company decided to introduce it following its huge success with the Game Changers tournaments in Valorant.
The tournament’s Group Stage will be between September 13-28 and once they are over, the Playoffs will begin on October 30. Interestingly, the latter will take place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. This is during the Paris Games Week, where we will also see the EMEA Masters Summer Finals.
Back to the Game Changers Rising, the event had three qualifying stages. Riot decided to invite three teams that were affiliated with the LEC parkers, after which there was an event called Equal Esports Cup, which also gave one slot. Aside from it, the company also hed online qualifiers that also resulted in two slots.
The Teams at the League of Legends Game Changers Rising
After the long wait, we have the names of all participating teams:
- G2 Hel – Affiliated with LEC
- SK Avarosa – Affiliated with LEC
- Vitality Rising Bees – Affiliates with LEC
- Solary Academy – The Equal Esports Cup
- Nexus Reapers – The Equal Esports Cup
- Galions Pearl – The Equal Esports Cup
- Eterna – Open Qualifiers
- Zerance Bloom – Open Qualifiers
G2 Hel is probably the most impressive name here, and for a good reason. The League of Legends team recently qualified to Tier 2 of LoL Esports and made history. Moreover, the team won the Equal Esports Cup just a few days ago after defeating Solary Academy in the Grand Final.
League of Legends Game Changers Rising 2025 Favorites
Whether you want to bet on LoL or just watch your favorite teams in action, there’s no arguing that this tournament will be worth following.
Considering what we mentioned in the previous heading, G2 Hel seems to be the big favorite to win the competition. Nevertheless, Solary is definitely close by, especially after the squad’s results at the Equal Sports Club. After all, the team defeated Vitality before losing in the Bo3 Grand Final.
SK is another team that could upset the favorites and win the trophy. Even though the team has not had the best results lately, historically, it is one of the best-performing LoL teams in its division.
