The champions you are about to see are divided into several tiers, starting with S and ending with D. We’ve been testing a lot of different champions and combos, so let’s see which ones stand out.

    S-Tier

The League of Legends Patch 25.S1.1 mid lane tier list will begin with the S-tier. Currently, these are the best mid lane champions you can pick, and here’s an overview of some of them.

    • Viktor – Although he was not good before, the recent meta changes made him a powerful midder. His AoE damage and fairly good laning stage make him a strong pick right now.
    • Akshan – Another solid pick for the mid lane in the current League of Legends Meta. This champion can snowball quickly and take part in early-game skirmishes.
    • Lux – Lux is one of those names that’s almost always a solid pick, and this patch is no exception. Aside from being relatively easy to master, Lux is also very strong.
    • Kassadin – If you are looking for a midder who’s fast and can help his team, Kassadin is a good option. He is very mobile and can make a difference.
    • Lissandra – Known for her amazing control, this champion can do wonders when it comes down to securing kills. Since objectives are essential in the current LoL meta, Lissandra can be invaluable.

    A-Tier

The A-Tier you will come across in the League of Legends Season 25 S1.1 mid lane tier list is also worth it. Having said that, they usually lack something that does not make them good enough to be in the S-Tier. Let’s cover some of the more important options.

    • Xerath – A very powerful League of Legends mid-lane champion who works well as long as you can position yourself properly. He is not ideal for diving into fights.
    • Vel’Koz – A great option for taking part in skirmishes due to his passive.
    • Qiyana – Normally, this would have been one of the best LoL midders in 25.S1.1. However, the tanks are very strong right now, and this champion is not that good against them. If they receive nerfs, however, Qiyana will become an S-tier option.

    B-Tier

Moving on to the B-Tier, the champions here are viable in certain situations. Here are awesome of them:

    • Veigar – The current meta in League of Legends is focusing on objectives, meaning Veigar is not the best option due to his low mobility. Furthermore, he needs some time to become “online”.
    • Twisted Fate – Despite the solid utility, this champion’s damage is not as impressive as it should be.
    • Ahri – Ahri is another name that can be good for roaming and can work well. Nevertheless, her damage output is also not that good, at least early on. This has a negative impact on her overall effectiveness.

    C-Tier

The champions in this LoL Mid tier list are not as good as those mentioned so far. It’s true that they may work in some instances, but it is hard to make the most out of them.

    • Aurora – Once a top-tier midder, Aurora is no longer a first-pick option. The champion requires too much work to make it worth it.
    • Sylas – Similar to Aurora, Sylas is no longer a top-tier pick.
    • Akali – Despite being very strong in very specific scenarios, overall, Akali is not that good in the League of Legends Patch 25.S1.1.

    D-Tier

Finally, we have the last “section” of the  League of Legends Mid Tier List, which consists of champions who are just not that strong in the meta. Some names here include:

    • Azir – Some people tried to make Azir work in the meta, but we think that he’s just not that strong. He will only excel in situations where he is paired with specific champions.

    Conclusion

The League of Legends Season 25 S1.1 midlane tier list tried to cover all of the popular picks right now. Remember that everything you read here is subjective and based on our experience and opinion. Ideally, you should focus on the champions that you are comfortable with, so make sure to put them to the test.

Of course, don’t forget to read all of the LoL 25.S1.1 changes before you start playing. Riot introduced all kinds of new options that have changes the game as we know it.
