As expected, the arrival of the League of Legends Patch 25.06 changed the meta from the ground up. The changes have affected every single role in the game, meaning that some champions have become much stronger than others. Therefore, it is time for the League of Legends Patch 25.S1.1 Tier List, and in this article, we will focus on the top lane.

Like in every tier list, this one will begin with the names in the S-Tier, which consists of the best champions right now. We will also include the A-Tier, where you will find solid options that can work in the meta but usually lack something small. The B-Tier is where you will find champions that are viable in certain scenarios,

We’ll also include the C-Tier and D-Tier, which is where you will come across names that are just not that strong right now.

LoL 25.06 Top Lane Tier List

    S-Tier

The LoL Patch S25.06 tier list will begin with the best LoL top laners you can get right now.

    • Aatrox – Players who are familiar with Aatrox’s abilities can rip through the competition in the most recent LoL patch.
    • Darius – Darius has always been one of the top laners in LoL, and he continues to be a top-tier option in S25.06. He can bully anyone from the lane and secure himself a solid advantage.
    • Mordekaiser – Another S-Tier name you can focus on is Mordekaiser. This LoL champion is great because of his impressive damage output. He can easily zone enemies, which makes him very valuable in the current meta. After all, the objectives are more important than ever.
    • Sett – The most recent changes made Sett one of the most powerful top lane champions right now.

Alongside these champions, you can also focus on names like Gragas, Flora, Urgot, Teemo, Warwick, Riven, Poppy, Cho’Gath, Gwen and Malphite.

    A-Tier

If you do not like any of the S-Tier champs, maybe you would be interested in these names:

    • Irelia – The first name that you definitely want to focus on is Irelia. She has a strong lane presence and is good at contesting objectives. Although weak against tanks, she can do well against pretty much anything else.
    • Tahm Kench – If you want a tank that can bully and be hard to deal with, think about Tahm Kench. The only drawback is his inability to clear waves, so keep that in mind when playing.
    • Olaf – Despite not having the best lane stage against certain opponents, Olaf can be a very dangerous pick. He is strong against teams that do not have a proper champion that can tank.
    • Singed – This is among the names that will benefit a lot from the newly added item in League of Legends. Singed is great in proxy and is an option to consider if you are looking for the best LoL top lane champion.
    • Tryndamere – Split pushing has always been a strong mechanic in LoL, so it’s no surprise that Tryndamere is on the A-Tier list. This champion is highly efficient in it and happens to have a strong laning phase.
    • Kled – Since the current League of Legends meta favors tankier champions, Kled is definitely an option to consider. Yes, he is not ideal, but he works well in almost all scenarios.
    • Vladimir – The second-last LoL champion that we’ll share more in the A-Tier is Vladimir. His laning phase is great, and he can be a nightmare to overcome once he gets a few items.
    • Ryze – The last name in this LoL Patch 25.06 tier list that we want to include is Ryze. Although this champion can be pretty much unkillable, he has a short range that does not make him ideal against all opponents. When picked correctly, however, he can be a solid option.

Alongside these champions, the LoL A-tier list can consist of the following – Pantheon, Zac, Gangplank, Kayle, and Trundle.

    B-Tier

The names you will find on this LoL 25.06 top lane B-tier list usually work in specific scenarios. Some are better in most instances, whereas others only thrive when picked alongside certain champions.

    • Gnar – This champion offers a good laning phase and team fight potential. However, his damage is not that impressive, and his utility isn’t always good. This means he may not work in every situation.
    • Ornn – Despite having a strong ultimate, Ornn is just too slow against some champions. Consequently, he is only worth getting versus specific opponents.
    • Swain – Swain’s laning phase is okay, and he can do well in many situations. However, the champion needs to snowball in order to stay relevant.
    • Quinn – A great overall champion when it comes down to map pressure and mobility. Nevertheless, Quinn is one of the names here that can struggle against some top-lane opponents.

Here are a few other names that can be in the League of Legends Patch 25.06 B-Tier List – Shen, Aatrox, and Udyr.

    C-Tier

While it is true that these champions may work, from our experience, they are not the best in the current meta.

    • Garen – Garen is an intriguing top laner that could work only in very specific scenarios. Sadly, he is just not that good overall in the current meta.

Alongside these two, the LoL top laners tier list for 25.06 can also include Yorick, Volibear, Illaoi, and Rumble.

    D-Tier

Finally, we have the D-Tier champions in League of Legends. Needless to say, these top lanes are not the best in the current meta, so it’s probably best to focus on something else.

    • Renekton – There have been metas where Renekton was worth getting, but it seems like this is no longer the case.
    • Nasus – Same as Rekenton, Nasus is just not good right now. Yes, he is easy to play and scales well, but this is where his advantages end, at least for now.

Other names that can be included here are Jayce, K’Sante, Sion, and Dr. Mundon.

    Conclusion

The League of Legends top lane tier list for patch 25.06 tried to cover all of the popular names right now; we believe that Riot will keep making small gameplay changes in the future that may impact the current meta and everything around it. We will just have to wait and see what’s going to happen.
