LTA South Split 3 Overview
The LTA South Split 3 tournament will take place in São Paulo, Brazil. Eight teams will compete for a spot in the Worlds and three slots in the LTA World Championship, which will take place in September this year.
Going back to the LoL LTA South Split 3, the tournament will begin on July 26 and end on September 7. During that time, we will have the following format:
- Weeks 1-3 – Pick and Play – This is the single match Bo3 format.
- Weeks 4-5 – Single Elimination Bo5
- Weeks 6-7 – Double Elimination Bo5
Teams and Rewards
As mentioned, the LTA South Split 3 will include 8 teams in total as follows:
- FURIA
- Keyd Stars
- LOUD
- Fluxo W7M
- RED Canids
- Leviatan
- Isurus
- paiN Gaming
Once the matches are over, the team that wins the split will receive a slot for Worlds and the LTA World Championship. The teams that finish 2nd and third will also have access to the same competition.
LTA North Split 3 Overview
Aside from the LTA South, League of Legends fans will also have access to the League of Legends LTA North Split 3. Taking place in Los Angeles, it will also include 8 teams and they will compete for the same rewards.
The format of the LTA North Split 3 is the same as that of the LTA South Split 3. We will see the pick-and-play options, a Single-Elimination bracket, and a double-elimination Bo5 bracket. The prizes will also be the same because there will be slots for Worlds and the LTA 2025 Championship.
When it comes to participating teams, many would argue that the LTA North is more interesting, especially after the news that Europe fell below North America in terms of League of Legends power ranking. With that said, here are all of the teams we will see in action:
- LYON
- Dignitas
- Cloud9
- FlyQuest
- Shopify Revellion
- Team Liquid
- Disguised
- 100 Thieves
We can see many interesting names, but it’s safe to say that 100 Thieves will be a bit more popular than the rest. Following the recent announcement, this will be one of the team’s last LTA North games, so fans will be eager to see its results.
Closing Thoughts
Don’t forget to watch some of the best LoL teams in North and South America. Fans will get the chance to see their favorite names once again. Worlds are slowly approaching, so every victory counts.
