Nisqy Joins Vitality as a Support, Will Return to the LEC in the Spring Split

Without any indication, Team Vitality revealed that they are signing a new Support for the upcoming Spring Split – and none other than Yasin “Nisqy” Dincer, the former LEC and LCS champion. The Belgian player will take the place of Zdravets “Hylissang” Iliev Galabov, who has been the support of the French squad since the start of the 2024 Season.

Nisqy Joins Vitality, Proceeds to Roleswap While Doing So

Nisqy is a household name in both North American and European professional League of Legends but spent the entirety of his career as a mid laner. His first major team was Team LDLC, after which he joined Fnatic Academy, as well as having a short NA stint in Team EnVyUs back in 2017.

Upon returning to EU, he was the mid lane player of Splyce alongside other great players like Andrei “Odoamne” Pascu and Raymond “kaSing” Tsang, as well as winning the 2018 Rift Rivals. Afterwards, he returned overseas to play for Cloud9 for two seasons, playing at Worlds as well as winning the LCS with them.

    Nisqy Joins Vitality

In 2020, he once again joined the LEC as the mid laner for Fnatic. Still, after a disappointing Worlds run – where Adam “Adam” Maanane and Elias “Upset” Lipp had some disagreements, as well as the latter having family issues, so Fnatic had to play without their ADC – he left the team to be a member of MAD Lions.

He was there when MAD Lions won the LEC out of nowhere, beating Team BDS 3-2 in the 2023 Spring Finals. Even though they had a better run at Worlds, they still couldn’t crack Playoffs, so Nisqy had to find a new home. He managed to do so after joining SK Gaming, but with a mediocre 2024 – bar from the insane Summer Regular Split – the German organization failed to make it to Worlds.

Nisqy failed to find a new squad to play for before the 2025 season and, as a result, was forced to take a break from competing, such as Martin “Wunder” Nordahl Hansen (who was seen playing for The Ruddy Sack as a temp sub, but doesn’t have a permanent home as of now). The roster move Vitality was attempting to make was leaked beforehand, but very shortly after, the French organization confirmed the swap, with the only thing remaining to do was Riot’s approval.

    Will Nisqy Save Vitality?

Team Vitality made some roster moves before the start of the 2025 LEC Split when they signed rookie top laner Kaan “Naak Nako” Okan and rookie mid laner Mateusz “Czajek” Czajka, while also keeping Linas “Lyncas” Nauncikas who joined the org during the last Summer Split of the LEC. The only thing that seemed to be a constant was the botlane of the team, Matyás “Carzzy” Orság and Hylissang, who have been the duo for Vitality since the end of the 2023 season.

However, Vitality doesn’t have the greatest track record with them: while they came in 4th in the Spring Split of 2024, they finished 9th in the Summer Split. During this year, they were 5th in the Winter Regular Split, but they couldn’t beat any top dogs in the league. The Playoffs weren’t easier for them either, as they got eliminated almost right away after losing to Karmine Corp 0-2, then 1-2 versus Team BDS in the Loser’s Bracket.

    Nisqy Joins Vitality Hylissang

Ever since they joined the team, there was a disparity between Carzzy and Hylissang. While it was known that they liked to play with each other, the performance of the ADC often left the Support’s behind – although neither of them was consistent. Hylissang also had more of his signature “accidents” which sometimes costed the game for Vitality. However, he also did some insane engages and won team fights for his squad.

The arrival of Nisqy is a surprise for fans, as Nisqy didn’t announce a role swap or anything similar before the swap was leaked. While his EUW account sits in Grandmaster at 931 LP at the time of writing, and he has been spamming support champions (most notably Bard) we have no information as to whether he’s cut out to be a professional support. But during his peak, Nisqy was among the best mid laners of the LEC – as well as the LCS – and Vitality needed a change. The Spring Split, starting on the 29th of March, will tell us if the French organization made the right call.
