According to sources close to BLIX.GG, Rúben “Rhuckz” Barbosa will not be Fnatic’s starting support in the LEC.
The organization is exploring several options for support position, among them is the academy support Henk “Advienne” Reijenga.
Rhuckz will no longer be the starting support after 2 months in the top European competition with Fnatic.
Despite the performances of the first games invited to dream, the duo in the bottom lane did not find any kind of synergy during the regular stage, where fnatic ended on the 9th place.
Rhuckz played in 2022 for Fnatic’s Superleague academy, FnaticTQ, where he won the league in the Spring Split.
Barbosa also had to make an emergency trip to Mexico to play the Worlds Play-In with Fnatic after Zdravets “Hylissang” Galabov tested positive for COVID, preventing him from joining the team on the first day. The Portuguese support beat Evil Geniuses and Chiefs Esports and was with Fnatic as a substitute throughout Worlds.
After the disastrous result of this split of the Fnatic team (2-7) the organization has decided to make several changes in the team, including Rhuckz’s replacement.
We will keep you updated regarding the further offseason moves at BLIX.GG.
