According to sources close to BLIX, João Miguel “Baca” Novais Bigas has reached a verbal agreement with UCAM to be the midlaner of the Murcian organization. The move would mark his return to UCAM after previously playing under the Murcian organization from 2020 to late 2021.
Baca is the current midlaner of KOI Academy and will have to finish his time in the Iberian cup before joining UCAM. The Portuguese midlaner will leave KOI Academy after one full year in Ibai “Ibai” Llanos’ organization.
Baca has two Superliga wins under his belt; the first one with UCAM in 2021 and a second one with fnatic Team Queso in 2022. He won the first one with coach, Gonçalo “Crusher” Pinto Brandão, whom BLIX also reported is set to return to UCAM.
Outside of Baca and Crusher, UCAM has yet to define its pieces, and for the moment we can only ensure this duo will be heading to Murcia.
