According to sources with knowledge of the negotiations, BLIX understands that Alejandro "Jandro" Fernández-Valdés Pedrosa has reached a verbal agreement with FC Barcelona to be the head coach of their League of Legends roster.
The Spanish coach is set to join the Blaugrana organization with a stacked résumé that includes stints with Astralis and Misfits in the LEC along with previous engagements with Giants, Fnatic Rising and Movistar Riders.
Jandro's addition to FC Barcelona will see him replace Alejandro "Mapache" Parejo Martinez, ending the latter coach's tenure with the club that began when they entered League of Legends in late 2021.
In addition to this change, FC Barcelona is considering a number of changes in the lineup that are not confirmed at the moment.
The League of Legends off season has just started, so we recommend following BLIX to get the latest news and roster reports.
