The LoL MSI 2025 is in full swing as we slowly approach the big final. After watching several amazing matches, it was time for one of the most anticipated clashes so far—CFO vs. T1. Even though we expected the latter to have little to no problems, this was not the case, so here’s what happened.
CTBC Flying Oyster vs T1 Match
CFO is one of the teams at the 2025 MSI that a lot of players were looking forward to. The team turned out to be very strong and surprised many people with their results. In fact, the LCP winners made it to the quarterfinals, but they had the bad luck of meeting T1.
Speaking of the devil, T1’s most recent results have been… weird. It seems like the team struggles in the first couple of series. Once the game reaches the verge of elimination, however, the team strikes with its full power, and we saw the same thing at MSI 2025.
In the first match of the series for the upper semis, T1 was victorious, but the match wasn’t that easy. There were several moments where the CFO looked really strong, but in the end, Faker and co. secured the win.
Sadly, this did not happen in games 2 and 3. It seems like the CFO was eager to win, so the team stepped up its game and won both maps. Sadly, T1 suddenly started playing like the best League of Legends team in the world and did not give their opponents any chances of succeeding. The squad dominated in games 4 and 5 and secured a slot for the upper semis.
The Next Matches
Following T1’s victory, the team will have to face BLG, the squad that defeated KOI. Bili Bili Gaming has been in the MSI longer than its opponents because the team started from the Play-In Stage.
As for CFO, the team can’t make any more mistakes because it will be its last. Since it is in the MSI 2025 elimination zone, CTBC Flying Oyster will play against KOI in the Lower Round 1.
